Hello everyone,

Welcome to hive open mic week 169. I'm excited and grateful to be here today with this week's presentation. The theme for this week is War which was choosing by this week's Spotlight artist: @jasperdick. When I first saw the theme, I was a bit challenged because I couldn't choose any song that will fit the theme. During the course of the week, I played this song and when I listen to the lyrics well, I realized it's a perfect fit for the theme.

Bienvenidos a la semana 169 de micrófono abierto de Hive. Estoy emocionado y agradecido de estar aquí hoy con la presentación de esta semana. El tema de esta semana es Guerra, que eligió el artista destacado de esta semana: @jasperdick. Cuando vi el tema por primera vez, estaba un poco desafiado porque no podía elegir ninguna canción que encajara con el tema. Durante el transcurso de la semana, toqué esta canción y cuando escuché bien la letra, me di cuenta de que encajaba perfectamente con el tema.

The song have a deeper meaning as it walk us through the mind of a soldier and how difficult it is for them to start up their lives after war. You see, War is a terrible thing. Fortunately I haven't experienced any but when I listen to stories my grandma tells about the civil war that happened when she was young and a nurse, it terrifies me. The videos and stories of survivors shows how terrible war can be. Its best to just try our best to live in peace. The lyrics talks about turning away from war and maintaining peace and happiness. I'm also using it to encourage us to live in peace with everyone. If we can play our own small part, it will go a long way in making the world a better place.

La canción tiene un significado más profundo ya que nos lleva a través de la mente de un soldado y lo difícil que es para ellos comenzar sus vidas después de la guerra. Verás, la guerra es una cosa terrible. Afortunadamente no he experimentado ninguno, pero cuando escucho las historias que cuenta mi abuela sobre la guerra civil que sucedió cuando era joven y enfermera, me aterroriza. Los videos y las historias de los sobrevivientes muestran lo terrible que puede ser la guerra. Lo mejor es hacer todo lo posible para vivir en paz. La letra habla de alejarse de la guerra y mantener la paz y la felicidad. También lo estoy usando para alentarnos a vivir en paz con todos. Si podemos desempeñar nuestro pequeño papel, contribuirá en gran medida a hacer del mundo un lugar mejor.
