Incluso me permite enfocarme.

    English version

At the end of last year, I reconnected with music, specifically singing. Since my father died in May, it took me a bit, it made me very sad to sing, I couldn't, it went from being something natural and that flowed well to simply not being able to do it. And that was because I was not feeling well.

Then little by little I began to try, I resumed the Talent Encounter program and, many told me to try, but I could not. Although I knew that it would possibly help me, I was not encouraged to do it much, but I think that singing definitely helps us to release emotions and heal.

In my case, it balances me and allows me to drain and express emotions. It even allows me to focus. Sometimes I wake up really wanting to sing and do some private mini-concerts before starting the day.

Step by step I evolved and regained my balance, sharing my voice with myself and with others. Thus, a series of online events were woven, of parties and meetings of neighbors and friends, some academic activities and even a renewal of marriage vow and, in all of them they asked me to sing, I was doing it and gradually I was feeling more comfortable, more light and even came to feel a special connection. That energy flows when it is being interpreted.

Music is an inspiring source and in the case of singers, in addition to being the performers, we are also the instruments, that is why our condition has an impact on what arises, although also if we talk about an instrument there is an influence; I consider that it is more noticeable in the singers.

Among the many things that I did, I had the opportunity to sing in an activity at the university where I have been a teacher for some years. It is a pleasure for me to participate and share both knowledge and music with my co-workers and students, these are things that cannot remain with us alone, but must be released for later enjoyment and application.

So when they invited me to sing I didn't hesitate for a minute. I selected three songs and I was happy because I hadn't been singing with musicians for a long time and well, to be honest, it also stressed me a bit, because it demanded more coordination and because I had to be clear about the lyrics because from singing in karaoke so much I have gotten used to not memorizing the letters and I get confused.

Today I have the pleasure of publishing this video where I interpret Luna de Margarita a song by one of the most internationally known Venezuelan musicians for his compositions, Maestro Simón Díaz, who wrote this song to his beloved wife, where he gave her the sea. of the Antilles and made reference to the moon to a landscape at a time that would become eternal, where the environment and nature were a living scene of a love story. It is a Venezuelan folk song.

In addition, I had the honor of sharing the stage with three excellent musicians, where the excellent @esteliopadilla was an hiver. So I appreciate the opportunity and hope you enjoy it.
