Learn With Gabo #6

Greetings to all, fellow hive creatives. About a month ago I shared with you the 5th installment of learn with Gabo. Since then I had thought about doing something different for the next installment, something that would raise the level a little bit.

Some users, like my friend Cristina (@actioncats) and my fellow gamer @gr33nm4ster, had recommended me to make this section of my blog in video, but unfortunately I didn't have a tripod to record properly. In conversations with @nahupuku, he was telling me how he managed to make some lamps and decorations for his recording studio, so those conversations inspired me to do it without a tripod.

It was thanks to that ingenuity that I was finally able to record this section as a video tutorial. It is not different from previous installments, as it preserves the same spirit with which "Learn with Gabo" began; in fact, it is the same, only recorded.

I show you the materials I used, something I always do in the publications of my sculptures.

I also show you how I made the skeleton of the figure, which in this case is a little different from the skeletons I have shown in previous installments, since in this installment we use a new material for the section, polystyrene (or anime, as it is known in my country).

It is no secret what figure I am going to make in this Learn with Gabo. In the main image you can clearly see that it is a baby Groot in a pot. In the video I not only show you how to make the figure, but also how to make the pot where baby Groot will be.

Of course, I show you how to make the body of the figure in great detail.

And this time there is no way I could forget to take pictures of the realization of the head of the figure, because I recorded the process all the time and that part in particular I show you the whole creative process and the tools I used.

I also show them how to use a wet brush technique to give a very cool style to the figure once finished.

Having said all of the above, I hope this video tutorial can be of use to you. It's a bit long, but it's well worth watching this video tutorial in which I seek to teach you a little of what I know. I hope you enjoy it.

Saludos a todos, compañeros creativos de hive. Hace aproximadamente un mes compartí con ustedes la entrega número 5 de aprende con Gabo. Desde entonces me había planteado hacer algo distinto para la próxima entrega, algo que subiera un poco el nivel.

Algunos usuarios, como mi amiga Cristina (@actioncats) y mi compañero gamer @gr33nm4ster , me habían recomendado hacer esta sección de mi blog en video, pero lamentablemente no tenía tripode para grabar de manera adecuada. En conversaciones con @nahupuku, él me estuvo comentando la manera en cómo él se las ingeniaba para hacer algunas lámparas y adornos de su estudio de grabación, así que esas conversaciones me inspiraron a ingeniarmelas sin tener un tripode.

Fue gracias a ese ingenio que finalmente pude grabar esta sección a manera de video tutorial. No es distinto a entregas anteriores, pues conserva el mismo espíritu con el que "Aprende con Gabo" comenzó; de hecho, es lo mismo, solo que grabado.

Les muestro los materiales que utilicé, algo que siempre acostumbro a hacer en las publicaciones de mis esculturas.

También les muestro cómo hice el esqueleto de la figura, que en este caso es un poco distinto a los esqueletos que he mostrado en entregas anteriores, ya que en esta entrega usamos un nuevo material para la sección, poliestireno (o anime, como se le conoce en mi país).

No es ningún secreto qué figura voy a hacer en este Aprende con Gabo. En la imagen principal de aprecia claramente que se trata de un baby groot en una maceta. En el video no solo les enseño cómo hacer la figura, sino también cómo hacer incluso la maceta donde estará baby Groot.

Desde luego, les enseño cómo hacer el cuerpo de la figura con lujo de detalle.

Y en esta ocasión no hay manera de que olvide tomar fotos de la realización de la cabeza de la figura, pues en todo momento grabé el proceso y esa parte en especial les muestro todo el proceso creativo y las herramientas que utilicé.

También les enseño cómo usar una técnica de pincel húmedo para dar un estilo muy genial a la figura una vez terminada.

Dicho todo lo anterior, espero que este video tutorial pueda serles de utilidad. Es un poco largo, pero bien vale la pena ver este videotutorial en el que busco enseñarles un poco de lo que sé. Espero que lo disfruten.
