Hello friends of MUSIC This Tuesday I bring you a song that I love and is a classic of the 2000s. I'm talking about the song of the most famous girl from Barranquilla in the world. Yes, you know it well, I'm talking about Shakira.

This rock ballad is a beautiful song, full of melancholy and very demanding in terms of vocal power. Well, that's how I felt when I was 12 years old when I heard it for the first time. I remember that my aunts gave me Shaki's album when I was that age, Baby Jesus brought it to me. hehehe. I couldn't stop singing all her songs, I even knew them in playback order. This was track n°8, and the one I liked the most at that time, especially because I was ashamed to say in the lyrics that I gave away my waist, not at all narrow, and my nose, which at that time I considered not very graceful. Shakira was a young girl who was releasing her second successful album, however researching to tell you about it in this post, I learned that it was actually the fourth of her career, the other two without major international success; it was with "Pies Descalzos" that she made the world fall in love and with this "Donde Están los Ladrones" she finished melting it, for me it is one of the best albums of her career.

I love having done it, although I really would have preferred to record it all over again in a live version. But I hope to be able to do it with my band soon and I promise I'll post the result here.

I know I usually talk a lot about songs because they remind me of something or someone, but this song is so much mine that I don't relate it to anyone but myself, my tastes and my desire to sing at the top of my lungs in the bathroom. That fills me with joy, because sometimes I need to remember that I am also my own audience and to please myself with a song that I like a lot just because I like it is something I don't usually do. I have never dedicated it to anyone, so I dedicate it to myself. Can I do that? hehehe

As always, I leave here the official video of the song and the lyrics, so you can sing at the top of your lungs. I allowed myself to do mine in black and white too, to be in the mood, although I'm not as histrionic as Shak. Thanks for reading, thanks for listening, thanks for playing.

    LETRA

    Eres tu amor
    Mis ganas de reír
El adiós que no sabre decir
Porque nunca podre vivir sin ti

    Si algún día decidieras
    Alejarte nuevamente de aquí
    Cerraría cada puerta
    Para que nunca pudieras salir

Te regalo mis silencios, te regalo mi nariz

    Eres tu amor
    Mis ganas de reír
El adiós que no sabre decir
Porque nunca podre vivir sin ti

    LYRICS
    I give you my waist
And my lips for when you want to kiss
    I give you my madness
And the few neurons that are left
My faded shoes, the diary I write in
I give you even my sighs, but don't go away anymore
    Because you are my sunshine
The faith with which I live
    The power of my going
The feet with which I walk
    You are my love
    My desire to laugh
The goodbye that I won't know how to say
Because I can never live without you
    If someday you decide
To take you away from here again
    I'd close every door
So that you could never leave
I give you my silences, I give you my nose
I give you even my bones, but stay here
    Because you are my sunshine
    The faith I live by
    The power of my going
The feet with which I walk
    You are your love
    My desire to laugh
The goodbye that I won't know how to say
Because I can never live without you.
