Hola querida comunidad, saludos a los amantes de las mascotas de Hive y 3speak.tv.
Mi coneja Estella se enfermó y aunque ya está mejor no ha podido darle leche a sus crías ya que ha bajado mucho de peso y por eso quiero aprovechar esta oportunidad para mostrarle a todas aquellas personas que también tienen conejos. ¿Qué hacer en caso de que su coneja tenga crías y no las pueda alimentar?.

Mi coneja estella tuvo gazapos hace veinte días pero por el día dieciséis me vi obligado a comprarle un alimento que nunca lo había comprado ya que del alimento que habitualmente le compro no había. Y tuve que cambiarlo por otro que nunca le había dado. El cual al parecer le hizo daño y le provocó una diarrea. Algo que es mortal para los conejos. Y por eso mientras le daba los cuidados a mi coneja para tratar de salvarle la vida al mismo tiempo también tuve que cuidar a sus gazapos y alimentarlos ya que estos todavía necesitaban tomar leche.

Gracias a Dios sé como preparar una fórmula láctea que es apta para que las crías de conejo se alimenten y así puedan sobrevivir.

Para alimentar a las crías de conejo, hay varias opciones que se pueden llevar a cabo. La primera es si es que la mamá no está enferma y simplemente por alguna u otra razón no quiere alimentar a sus gazapos, intentaremos tomarla y colocarla en una posición de reposo sujetándola con una de nuestras manos y con nuestra otra mano tomaremos a los gazapos uno por uno y los iremos acercando al abdomen de su madre posicionándolo sobre algunas de las tetillas para que estos puedan tomar mientras nosotros estamos sujetándo a la coneja. Lo otro que podemos hacer es buscar un sustituto en alguna clínica veterinaria para la leche materna del conejo. Un sustituto para esta leche puede ser la fórmula de leche para gatos. Que esta es muy parecida a la leche que producen los conejos sino también podemos buscar leche de cabra que también es apta para que los gazapos puedan tomarla pero lamentablemente en mi país así como en muchos otros países del tercer mundo se nos hace muy complicado conseguir cualquiera de las dos opciones anteriores y por eso yo empleo otra estrategia y es la de hacer una fórmula de leche para para conejos usando leche de vaca en polvo lo cual es muy fácil, solo se necesita tener la leche en polvo, agua y una yema de huevo. Las cantidades son las siguientes, cuatro cucharadas de leche en polvo para doscientos centímetros cúbicos de agua y una yema de huevo. Luego de usar la fórmulaláctea debemos refrigerarla y con esto podemos alimentar a nuestros gazapos por tres días utilizando la misma fórmula. Luego de tres días, si aún nos queda leche, debemos tirarla y hacer una nueva.

Esta fórmula láctea va a ser muy fácil de administrar a los gazapos. Lo podemos hacer ayudándonos con una jeringa, sin aguja, obviamente. Ya que los conejitos tienen dientes e intentarán morder todo lo que se le acerque a la boca y la jeringa al ser de un material resistente podrá aguantar las mordidas. La fórmula la administraremos de una manera lenta y pausada para no ahogar a los gazapos. Y hay que tener en cuenta que la fórmula debe estar un poco más caliente que la temperatura ambiente, debería estar un poco más que tibia para que los gazapos la acepten más fácil, ya que la leche materna siempre está calentita.
Este fórmula láctea la debemos administrar 2 veces al día en dosis de 2 cc por gazapos a partir de los 10 días 4 cc a partir de los 15 días. Cuando los gazapos empiecen a comer en se puede ir disminuyendo la dosis de fórmula láctea hasta que los conejos cumplan un mes.

And so while I was taking care of my rabbit to try to save her life at the same time I also had to take care of her gazapos and feed them since they still needed to drink milk.

Thank God I know how to prepare a milk formula that is suitable for the baby rabbits to feed so they can survive.

To feed the baby rabbits, there are several options that can be carried out. The first is if the mother is not ill and simply for some reason or other does not want to feed her young, we will try to take her and place her in a resting position holding her with one of our hands and with our other hand we will take the young one by one and we will bring them closer to the abdomen of their mother positioning it on some of the teats so that they can drink while we are holding the rabbit. The other thing we can do is to look for a substitute in a veterinary clinic for the rabbit's maternal milk. A substitute for this milk can be the milk formula for cats. This is very similar to the milk that the rabbits produce but we can also look for goat milk which is also suitable for the rabbits to drink but unfortunately in my country as well as in many other third world countries it is very complicated to get either of the two previous options and that is why I use another strategy and that is to make a milk formula for rabbits using powdered cow milk which is very easy, you only need to have the powdered milk, water and an egg yolk. The quantities are as follows, four tablespoons of powdered milk for two hundred cubic centimeters of water and one egg yolk. After using the milk formula we should refrigerate it and with this we can feed our gazapos for three days using the same formula. After three days, if we still have milk left, we should throw it away and make a new one.

This milk formula will be very easy to administer to the gazapos. We can do it with the help of a syringe, without needle, obviously. Since the rabbits have teeth and will try to bite everything that comes near their mouths and the syringe, being made of a resistant material, will be able to withstand the bites. The formula should be administered slowly and slowly so as not to drown the rabbits. And keep in mind that the formula should be a little warmer than room temperature, it should be a little warmer than lukewarm so that the gazapos accept it more easily, since the mother's milk is always warm.
This milk formula should be administered twice a day in doses of 2 cc per gazapos from 10 days old and 4 cc from 15 days old. When the rabbits begin to eat, the dose of milk formula can be decreased until the rabbits are one month old.
