Muchos la conocemos de la versión de Simon y Garfunkel, sin embargo pertenece a una zarzuela peruana cuya música compuso Daniel Alomía Robles en el año 1913.
Este es un caso muy adecuado para hablar de polémicas sobre apropiación cultural, versiones, arreglos, y malentendidos. Sin embargo, lo importante es siempre dar crédito al autor original por el derecho moral.

Many of us know it from Simon and Garfunkel's version, but it belongs to a Peruvian zarzuela whose music was composed by Daniel Alomía Robles in 1913.
