Unboxing: Ovedisa USB Condenser Microphone / Una buena adquisición [English Subs]

Hola amigos de Hive y de la grandiosa comunidad Geek Zone, yo soy fernanblog y hoy estoy muy contento porque les traigo mi primer unboxing. Jamás había hecho uno en forma de contenido así que espero puedan disfrutarlo ya que lo hice en video, sin embargo, igualmente en el post les coloco fotografías del producto para que puedan apreciarlo más aún.

Cuando hago contenido musical (canto) o de videojuegos (gameplays) suelo utilizar un micrófono balita para ello, esto motivado a que el sonido es mucho mejor que grabar solo con el micrófono del dispositivo de grabación que puede ser tanto una cámara como un teléfono celular. Hace unas semanas mi hermano quien estudia actualmente producción musical, empezó a conocer más de este mundo del sonido y me sugirió que investigara sobre micrófonos aptos para grabar el contenido que yo hago y en base a esa información que fui conociendo definí que lo que necesito para mejorar sustancialmente el sonido de mis producciones, es un micrófono condensador; teniendo ya en cuenta eso, mi hermano me dice que me lo regalaría aprovechando que haría una compra por Amazon para aquellos días.

Él más o menos me habló de un rango de precios y en base a eso empecé a buscar reviews en Youtube que me hicieron llegar a ciertas marcas específicas para empezar. Ya habiendo visto varios videos e investigando un poco más, procedí a entrar en Amazon porque los precios de los que hablaban en estos videos eran teniendo como referencia esta plataforma; en principio vi 4 modelos distintos que se adaptaban a mi necesidad y eso lo reduje a uno leyendo las calificaciones que daban los compradores. Este micrófono que adquirí gracias a mi hermano, tenía muy buenas calificaciones y está entre los más vendidos para hacer streaming y música semi-profesional; este producto se consigue mediante varias tiendas en Amazon y el precio oscila entre los 38 y 45 dólares, pero yo conté con la suerte de que una de esas tiendas lo estaba vendiendo en oferta en 33 dólares, así que procedimos a la compra.

A pesar de que en la música tengo tiempo incursionando pero más como pasatiempo, desconocía mucho sobre algunos detalles con respecto a sonido y esta búsqueda me ayudó a entender mucho más del tema. El micrófono es condensador cardioide, es decir el sonido es vivo, respetando ciertas frecuencias y anulando un alto porcentaje del ruido ambiente ya que la recepción principal del sonido está en la parte frontal del micrófono la cual está situada justo encima de la marca del mismo. Para obtener las bondades máximas de este tipo de micrófonos es necesario contar con una fuente de poder phantom, pero de inicio y basándonos en el hecho de que estoy empezando a conocer esta forma de trabajar, contaré con la alimentación de energía de la PC debido a que este dispositivo cuenta con una conexión USB.

Ya lo he estado probando; este video lo grabé hace una semana, así que cuando ya empiece a trabajar con frecuencia con el micrófono, les traeré un review del mismo para darles mis impresiones, de momento les puedo decir que vamos por buen camino 👍😉!!!

Hi friends of Hive and the great Geek Zone community, I'm fernanblog and today I'm very happy because I bring you my first unboxing. I had never done one in the form of content so I hope you can enjoy it because I did it in video, however, also in the post I put pictures of the product so you can appreciate it even more.

When I do music content (singing) or video games (gameplays) I usually use a bullet microphone for it, this motivated that the sound is much better than recording only with the microphone of the recording device that can be either a camera or a cell phone. A few weeks ago my brother who is currently studying music production, began to learn more about this world of sound and suggested that I investigate about microphones suitable for recording the content that I do and based on that information that I was knowing I defined that what I need to substantially improve the sound of my productions, is a condenser microphone; already taking that into account, my brother tells me that he would give it to me, taking advantage of a purchase that he would do by Amazon for those days.

He more or less told me about a price range and based on that I started looking for reviews on Youtube that made me get to certain specific brands to start with. Already having seen several videos and researching a little more, I proceeded to enter Amazon because the prices they talked about in these videos were having as reference this platform; at first I saw 4 different models that suited my need and that I narrowed it down to one by reading the ratings given by buyers. This microphone that I acquired thanks to my brother, had very good ratings and is among the best sellers for streaming and semi-professional music; this product is available through several stores on Amazon and the price ranges between $38 and $45, but I counted with the luck that one of those stores was selling it on sale at $33, so we proceeded with the purchase.

Although I have been dabbling in music for some time, but more as a hobby, I did not know much about some details regarding sound and this search helped me to understand much more about the subject. The microphone is a cardioid condenser, i.e. the sound is alive, respecting certain frequencies and canceling a high percentage of ambient noise as the main sound reception is at the front of the microphone which is located just above the mark of the same. To get the maximum benefits of this type of microphone is necessary to have a phantom power supply, but initially and based on the fact that I'm starting to know this way of working, I will have the power supply of the PC because this device has a USB connection.

I have already been testing it; I recorded this video a week ago, so when I start working frequently with the microphone, I will bring you a review of it to give you my impressions, for now I can tell you that we are on the right direction 👍😉!!!

Algo muy chistoso es que cuando vi la caja para nada veía un micrófono jajaja, a simple vista parece de una consola, pero son solo eso, imágenes jeje. El manual está en inglés y te dice muy bien como instalar todo por medio de imágenes a color. El producto tiene una garantía de un año.

Something very funny is that when I saw the box nowhere I saw a microphone hahaha, at first glance it looks like a console, but it's just that, an image. The manual is in English and tells you very well how to install everything through color images. The product is covered by a one-year warranty.

Como pueden apreciar todo está bien acomodado y en buen estado. El filtro antipop consta de un brazo flexible metálico, una pequeña abrazadera y la pieza circular plástica (de buena calidad) que contiene el filtro como tal; adicional podemos ver el cable USB que tiene su conector directo al micrófono.

As you can see everything is well arranged and in good condition. The pop filter consists of a flexible metallic arm, a small clamp and the circular plastic piece (of good quality) that contains the filter as such; additionally we can see the USB cable that has its direct connector to the microphone.

Estas piezas están hechas de buenos materiales, no se sienten de mala calidad, especialmente el brazo de suspensión que era el que más me preocupaba. Son piezas livianas de peso al igual que las anteriores, pero bien elaboradas.

These parts are made of good materials, they don't feel shoddy, especially the suspension arm which was the one I was most concerned about. They are light weight parts just like the previous ones, but well made.

El micrófono es muy atractivo visualmente; está hecho en su mayoría de metal y para su tamaño tiene un peso razonable. Su color es lo que más me gustó sin duda alguna.

The microphone is very visually appealing; it is made mostly of metal and for its size it has a reasonable weight. Its color is what I liked the most without a doubt.

Este es el resultado final, que les parece? ya mi mesa de trabajo está agarrando más fuerza y eso me emociona mucho, solo falta hacer ajustes técnicos y listo, estará apto para grabar contenido musical y de video juegos que es donde necesito instruirme más ya que mis gameplays son grabados desde consola y no desde PC, si tienen sugerencias u observaciones al respecto, serán bienvenidas.
