Hello friends of Hive and Hive Open Mic, I'm Fernando Benedetti from @fernanblog; what a joy to share with you my first Christmas in Hive, it has been a very nice experience since I started it in August. This is already my 20th video in this community and the 41st in general, and without any doubt, the growth I have obtained musically has been enriching, I had never done so many videos in such a short time, I think it has been a record for me, well, I know that many have experienced the same, and that's what makes the adventure here on this platform more amazing.

I have made many friends, I have met other cultures and I have seen and heard hundreds of talents, not only in music, but also in other arts. Being here is a blessing, this Christmas will be unforgettable for me…

I hope you have a happy Christmas Eve today and that your spirits are enlightened in tune with peace. I hope your families, your loved ones and your homes receive many blessings from today, as we are fighting against something that is unseen, but has sown fear in the world and has taken away that warm approach we used to have.

Let us pray much to our Creator God, regardless of your religious belief, so that the sick may be healed; so that those who feel lonely may find the best company; so that those who today fondly remember that person who is physically gone may find comfort; so that those who suffer in silence may find a light on their path; that the homeless may find the place where they belong and be happy; that the world may be more equitable and that there may be no more confrontations based on religion, race or sex; that politicians may respect the will of their people and help each nation to prosper; and that this pandemic may disappear little by little, ¡God bless us all!

To celebrate this Christmas and to join forces against everything negative, I bring you as a gift, a guitar cover of one of the best known Christmas songs on the planet, it is "Silent Night", written by Joseph Mohr and composed by Franz Xaver Gruber in 1818. I did not make additional arrangements because the song itself is perfect and I wanted to interpret it in a relaxed way since tonight is special...

So folks, without further ado, here is my submission for the Hive Open Mic in its 89th week dedicated to the "Holy Word".

Hola amigos de Hive y de Hive Open Mic, soy Fernando Benedetti de @fernanblog; que dicha poder compartir con ustedes mi primera navidad en Hive, ha sido una experiencia muy bonita desde que la inicié en el mes de agosto. Ya este es mi video número 20 en esta comunidad y el 41 a nivel general, y sin ninguna duda, el crecimiento que he obtenido a nivel musical ha sido enriquecedor, jamás había hecho tantos videos en tan poco tiempo, creo que ha sido un récord para mí, bueno, sé que muchos lo han vivido igual, y eso es lo que hace más asombrosa la aventura aquí en esta plataforma.

He hecho muchos amigos, he conocido otras culturas y he visto y escuchado a cientos de talentos, no solo en la música, sino también en otras artes. Estar aquí es una bendición, esta navidad será inolvidable para mí…

Espero que hoy pasen una feliz noche buena y que sus espíritus se iluminen en sintonía con la paz. Espero que sus familias, sus seres amados y sus hogares reciban muchas bendiciones a partir de hoy, ya que estamos luchando contra algo que no se ve, pero que ha sembrado miedo en el mundo y que nos ha quitado ese acercamiento cálido que solíamos tener.

Pidamos mucho a nuestro Dios creador, sin importar tu creencia religiosa, para que los enfermos sanen; para que los que se sientan solos encuentren la mejor compañía; para que los que hoy recuerdan con cariño a esa persona que físicamente no está, encuentren consuelo; para que aquellos que sufren en silencio, encuentren una luz en su camino; para que el que no tiene hogar encuentre ese lugar al cual pertenece y sea feliz; para que el mundo sea más equitativo y no hayan más confrontaciones por religión, raza o sexo; para que los políticos respeten la voluntad de sus pueblos y ayuden a prosperar a cada nación; y para que esta pandemia vaya desapareciendo poco a poco… Dios nos bendiga a todos!!!

Para celebrar esta navidad y unir más fuerzas contra todo lo negativo, les traigo como regalo, un cover de guitarra de una de las canciones navideñas más conocidas en el planeta, se trata de “Noche de Paz” (llamada en inglés Silent Night), escrita por Joseph Mohr y compuesta por Franz Xaver Gruber en el año 1818. No le hice arreglos adicionales porque la canción en sí misma es perfecta y quise interpretarla de forma relajada ya que la noche de hoy es especial…

Así que amigos, sin más preámbulos, aquí les dejo mi presentación para el Hive Open Mic en su semana 89 dedicada a la “Palabra Santa”.
