Hello friends of Hive and my Hive Open Mic family; after a few weeks of absence due to health reasons, I am back with a new video to share with you in a week dedicated to the "Work of True Love" proposed by the talented @donirosayandi.

Love is something sublime, we can give it in various forms, but its essence lies in the fact of acting in good faith, with motivation, helping selflessly, forgiving and supporting people who are important to us. As a reference, the greatest love that exists is that of God; I, like many, have been able to witness his work in me and in those I love, giving us the blessing of being alive in the midst of moments of danger and shortages... I will always be grateful for what he gives me every day and therefore I will faithfully follow his path to be well with myself.

We all feel love, even the most evil person feels it, the problem is when it is conditioned by distorted thoughts, however and putting aside the bad, I consider that earthly, in this physical plane, the greatest intensity of love is manifested when we fall in love....

We can love our family, but that love does not compare to the love we feel for that special person; the intensity of this love is magnified as we build it and it is so powerful that over time it completely changes our habits and way of living. Relationships will never be easy, what makes them complicated is knowing that we can get rid of them at any time, what happens is that we bet so much for them, we give and sacrifice so much for them, that abandoning that can generate a very large existential void. Therefore, working for true love consists of resisting and understanding that everything is temporary and that with a lot of perseverance and dedication we can consolidate a relationship that can last a lifetime.

For this to happen there are 3 key values that I mentioned in a previous post: respect, trust and communication; these values are the basis of every relationship and guarantee happiness, well-being and pleasure.

When I had my rock band in Venezuela, I wrote many songs, some of them I have already presented, today, I bring you a very special one that in fact is the song with which we opened the concerts when we played live; it is called Historia de Amor (Love Story) and in it I explain the stages that a couple lives, from falling in love, until the difficult moments where everything is solved satisfactorily. It is a song I did as a tribute to this sublime feeling that connects us with another person in a transcendental way.

I had many years without playing and singing it, when I rehearsed it for this week, I had a hard time to be at the height of its original tonality; I composed it based on the standard tuning on the guitar, I had to lower a full tone to the tuning to be comfortable when singing, it also cost me a little because I'm coming out of a health problem that had me absent from Hive for 2 weeks. This malaise points to the covid, I still feel a lot of weakness, but the worst is over thank God, besides that I am also working on a family business and that has also taken me away from Hive.

Because I toned down the tuning, maybe the vibe is not the same, but in essence the message is clear and it brings up the struggle that exists within relationships to stay healthy and safe in the face of any adversity. This song had arrangements, but I had so much time without playing it that I forgot them, so I have committed myself to work on it much more because it is a song that is worth rescuing to make it shine much more.

Hola amigos de Hive y de mi familia Hive Open Mic; luego de algunas semanas de ausencia por motivos de salud, regreso con un nuevo video para compartir con ustedes en una semana dedicada al “Work of True Love” propuesto por el talentoso @donirosayandi.

El amor es algo sublime, lo podemos dar en diversas formas, pero su esencia radica en el hecho de actuar de buena fe, con motivación, ayudando desinteresadamente, perdonando y apoyando a las personas que son importantes para nosotros. Como referencia, el amor más grande que existe es el de Dios; yo, al igual que muchos, he podido ser testigo de su obra en mi y en los que amo, dándonos la bendición de estar vivos en medio de momentos de peligro y de carencias… siempre estaré agradecido por lo que me regala a diario y por ello seguiré fielmente su camino para estar bien conmigo mismo.

El amor lo sentimos todos, hasta la persona más malvada lo siente, el problema es cuando está condicionado por pensamientos distorsionados, sin embargo y poniendo a un lado lo malo, considero que terrenalmente, en este plano físico, la intensidad más grande del amor se manifiesta cuando nos enamoramos…

Podemos amar a nuestra familia, pero ese amor no se compara al que sentimos por esa persona especial; la intensidad de este amor se magnifica en la medida que lo vamos construyendo y es tan poderoso que al pasar del tiempo cambia por completo nuestros hábitos y forma de vivir. Las relaciones de pareja jamás serán fáciles, lo que las hace complicadas es saber que podemos desprendernos de ellas en cualquier momento, lo que pasa es que apostamos tanto por ellas, entregamos y sacrificamos tanto por ellas, que abandonar eso nos puede generar un vacío existencial muy grande. Por ello, trabajar por el amor verdadero consiste en resistir y entender que todo es pasajero y que con mucha constancia y dedicación podemos consolidar una relación que puede durar toda la vida.

Para que esto ocurra hay 3 valores claves que en algún post pasado comenté: respeto, confianza y comunicación; estos valores son la base de toda relación y garantizan la felicidad, el bienestar y el placer.

Cuando tenía mi banda de rock en Venezuela, escribí muchas canciones, parte de ellas ya se las he presentado, hoy, les traigo una muy especial que de hecho es la canción con la que abríamos los conciertos cuando tocábamos en vivo; se llama Historia de Amor y en ella explico las etapas que vive una pareja desde el enamoramiento, hasta los momentos difíciles en donde todo se soluciona satisfactoriamente. Es una canción que hice como homenaje a este sentimiento tan sublime que nos conecta con otra persona de forma trascendental.

Tenía muchos años sin tocarla y cantarla, cuando la ensayé para esta semana, me costó mucho estar a la altura de su tonalidad original; yo la compuse tomando como base la afinación estándar en la guitarra, me tocó bajarle un tono completo a la afinación para poder estar cómodo al cantar, igualmente me costó un poco ya que estoy saliendo de un malestar de salud que me tuvo ausente de Hive por 2 semanas. Este malestar apunta hacia el covid, todavía siento mucha debilidad, pero lo peor ya pasó gracias a Dios, aparte de que también estoy trabajando en un emprendimiento familiar y eso también me ha alejado un poco de Hive.

Debido a que le bajé un tono a la afinación quizá la vibra no es la misma, pero en esencia el mensaje es claro y deja en alto la lucha que hay dentro de las relaciones ara mantenerse sanas y salvas ante cualquier adversidad. Esta canción tenía arreglos, pero tenía tanto tiempo sin tocarla que los olvidé, por lo que me he comprometido conmigo mismo a trabajarla mucho más ya que es una canción que vale la pena rescatar para hacerla brillar mucho más.
