Lessons from the International Special Thanksgiving day 3 via zoom

It was another great time in the present of God and a time to give thanks to God at the international thanksgiving service day 3 which I joined via zoom on the 4th July 2021 which stated by 10:00am Nigerian time.

The service started by singing some great songs and prayer of Thanksgiving.
A lot were also learned from the teaching of the day.

Ephesians 1:18 KJV
The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

The heart has eyes.
Evil thought come from the heart. If evil is collected in the heart it is because it is passed through the eyes of the heart. When our heart is enlightened then our mind will be enlighten.

Colossians 3:2 KJV
Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

If we are going to set our mind on things above, we will not set it on the things on earth.

The eyes of the heart refers to the mind.

Matthew 6:22 KJV
The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.

2 Corinthians 4:4 KJV
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

The mind is an eye blinded by Satan so the light of the gospel will not shine on them.

There are mind made up of evil by the devil. These are mind blinded by Satan.
Our mind and our hearts should be kept and they should be set on things above. If they are set on things above, our heart will be filled with things above.

2 Corinthians 11:3 KJV
But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

Philippians 4:7 KJV
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

We need to trust in God so we will have peace.

Proverbs 23:6-7 KJV
Eat thou not the bread of him that hath an evil eye, neither desire thou his dainty meats: [7] For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.

The way Satan darken the heart is to set it on earthly things

James 3:17 KJV
But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

Peace is important and it came from God.

Matthew 15:19 KJV
For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:

Evil though came from the heart because it has already conceive evil through the mind.

Genesis 6:5 KJV
And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

The thought of the heart came from the heart. So the evil thought came from the heart.
