Lessons from the Prayer Meeting held on the 17th July 2021 via zoom

The reason why Jesus teaches us observation and fulfillment is to do them.

Matthew 28:20 KJV
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

James 2:13 KJV
For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.

Because you are poor does not mean you can't have mercy on the poor.

James 2:5 KJV
Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?

John 13:35 KJV
By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

We should know that we cannot be alone.

1 John 3:10 KJV
In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

There is a difference from being of God and being of devil.

1 Corinthians 12:25 KJV
That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.

God does not want division or inequality among us. We ought to be glued to one another. Our motto should be "one for all and all for one"

1 Corinthians 12:6 KJV
And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.

In the church, there are diversity of operations. We are God's fellow workers. In the church, we have different work.

1 Corinthians 12:26-27 KJV
And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it. [27] Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

If a member suffers, all members suffer with it and if any member rejoice, all members should rejoice with him.

God does not allow us to have division in the church.
You cannot be righteous all by yourself.
We should not wait until someone approach us for help before we do it.
We should love indeed and in truth. We should not love only in word.
