Lessons from the Bible Exposition held on 29th September 2021 via zoom

Today I joined the the Bible Exposition via zoom and I learnt a lot from the questions asked and the answer given by bro Eli.

Question - Is it a sin against God not to give 10% to church?
Answer - 10% is not a law for our time. When Jesus came, the priesthood was changed then the law was changed. Now we follow the law of Christ and not the law of Moses. You will give to church according to your heart.

Hebrews 7:5,12 KJV
And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham: [12] For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.

And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.

Question - Will one be safe if one obey all the laws of God in the Bible even if one did not undergo baptism?
Answer - Baptism is part of the doctrine of the Bible. Anyone that did not give himself to baptism, he is not obeying all the laws. One cannot be used by God if he is not clean. The only way one can be cleanse is through baptism.

Question - Is gambling prohibited because it was happening during the time of apostles?
Answer - Gambling is prohibited
