Lessons from the mass inductrination day 1 held on the 15th March 2022 via zoom

It was a great time listening to great teaching from bro Eli. A lot of lessons were learnt and I just want to share few from the lessons.

Some of the important points learned from the words of God discussed in the Zoom meeting are:

• It is only the doctrine of Christ who was sent by the Father that we should listen to.
• The problem in our time is that people listen to so many doctrines.
• We have to take and practice religion as seriously as it should be.
• Jesus told the disciples to make disciples of all nations baptizing them and teaching them the doctrine
• The first doctrine of Christ is baptism that must be done.
• The fist thing Paul was told to do when he left Judaism was to be baptized.
• If you you receive Christ but reject His word, it means you reject Him.
• Receicing Christ is tantamount to receiving His word.
• The church is the spiritual body of christ.
• It is the church that will be the instrument with which the wisdom of God will be preached.
• The church is an institution which God established through Christ.
• The first thing we should do now is to receive the church of God.
• Before we become a member of the church, we need to be baptized, and before we get baptized, we need to accept His word.

My former beliefs or expectation that was improved for listening at the Zoom meeting

From the Zoom meeting, we were made to understand that it is important to be a member of the church as against what some people believe and preach. To become a member of the church, we need to be baptized and before we are baptized, we need to accept the doctrines of Christ. Before we can accept the doctrines, we need to know the doctrines and the doctrines are contained in the word of God which is the Bible.

Ways in which the study affect us that can make us a better person that we can use in our daily lives

From the study, we are made to understand that we cannot say we accept God without accepting His words. So we need to accept His words an His doctrines for us to say we accept God.
