Traffic in Lagos City and A journey Home

Spending a day in Lagos traffic can be life draining because the city is over populated with people from all over the country and all over the world. Lagos city, one of the best state in Nigeria with beautiful night views and busy working day.

There is a saying that goes like this
“Lagos is never asleep”

Meaning, people are always awake at a certain time in Lagos, there are people that their job time is at night while other work during the day.

One of the reason Lagos is overpopulated is because a lot of people come to Lagos for a job opportunity want to start their live afresh. Legacy place that is considered in New York of America it’s a city where everybody I ask you to work for them self.

I recently went to ikeja see my dad to see my dad. On my way to ikeja. I encounter a lot of traffic, road side traders and people walking on the main road.

Many people refuse to to take the pedestrian crossing bridge because they believe it would take more time so instead they cross the road with fast moving vehicles. I made a video of how my journey went from ikorodu to Ikeja-Ogba and things I saw on the road. I hope you watch and learn one or two things from the video.
