Has nepotism became culture?

Hello Guys!
I have tried my best to speak about the nepotism a tending culture these days in India in everywhere. Everyone want to take benefits of nepotism if his/her relatives are in powerful position in any field such as Politics, Bollywood, Business etc. they need position but don't want to achieve that post doing some self efforts hence nepotism is not good at all in all circumstance but in few cases it could be supportable.
Please give your own opinion about nepotism.
