Hive Open Mic Week 154 | Dear Future Husband (Cover) by Eugelys | Esp-Eng

El tema de esta semana me pareció bastante creativo y fue un reto para mí seleccionar una canción, pues al tratarse de la frase Comedia Musical quedé un poco en blanco al momento de elegir. Estuve sopesando qué presentarles, de hecho, hasta escribí una publicación dónde muestro tres canciones que considero divertidas y cuyos videos musicales me hacen reír, fue una manera de hacer una preselección.

La canción que elegí se llama Dear future husband y hoy día se suma a ser tendencia en Tik Tok, ya que que las canciones de Meghan Trainor gustan muchísimo en esa red social, donde los usuarios destacan por hacer transiciones increíbles que van con la letra de su canción.

Esta canción me parece cómica, pues ella le explica a su futuro esposo unas pocas cosas que el deberá hacer para ganarse su amor por la eternidad. En realidad su lista es bastante extensa, llena de detalles y humor. Para este cover grabé a capela, muy pocas veces he grabado sin tocar o tener una pista de fondo, pero quise hacer algo totalmente diferente, además añadí otras voces y fondos para darle un poco más de cuerpo a esta interpretación.

I found this week's theme quite creative and it was a challenge for me to select a song, as it was the phrase Musical Comedy I was a bit of a blank when I wanted to choose a song. I was pondering what to bring, in fact, I even wrote a post where I show three songs that I consider funny and whose music videos make me laugh, it was a way to make a pre-selection.

The song I chose is called Dear future husband and today it's trending on Tik Tok, it turns out that Meghan Trainor's songs are very popular on that social network, where users stand out for making incredible transitions that go with the lyrics of their song.

I find this song comical, as she explains to her future husband a few things he will have to do to earn her love for eternity. Actually her list is quite extensive, full of details and humour. For this cover I recorded a cappella, very few times I've recorded without playing or having a backing track, but here I wanted to do something totally different, plus I added other voices and backgrounds to give a better sound and details to this performance.

¡No fue fácil, pero lo logré! Así que me siento bien satisfecha con el resultado obtenido, siempre es algo bueno salir de la zona de confort al hacer música, de esta forma se aprende un poco más sobre nuestra voz, espero que disfruten de esta versión.
