Anhelo en la lluvia (Cover) by Eugelys

Para cerrar esta semana dedicada a música hecha por venezolanos les traigo el cover de Anhelo en la lluvia, una canción con un ritmo bien movido a la cual he realizado una versión en balada. Cuando estaba grabando esta canción me enlacé tanto con ella que por momentos estaba totalmente relajada y hasta paraba, estos silencios hablan del poder de la música y cómo puede, de imprevisto, transformar nuestro presente.

To close this week dedicated to music made by Venezuelans I bring you the cover of Anhelo en la lluvia, a song with a very moving rhythm to which I have made a ballad version. When I was recording this song I got so attached to it that at times I was totally relaxed and even stopped, these silences speak of the power of music and how it can, unexpectedly, transform our present.

Cuando pienso en un anhelo mi mente va hacia lugares que muestran los deseos más importantes, podemos desear algo, pero el acto de anhelar considero que le da más importancia, por ejemplo puedo desear tener unos nuevos zapatos deportivos, pero anhelo correr un maratón. ¿Llego a explicarme? Siento que los anhelos se relacionan a proyectos, cosas, situaciones mucho más importantes en nuestra vida.

When I think of a longing my mind goes to places that show the most important desires, we can wish for something, but the act of longing I feel gives it more importance, for example I can wish for new running shoes, but I long to run a marathon. Do I get to explain myself? I feel that longings are related to much more important projects, things, situations in our life.

Esta canción habla del anhelo de desear a alguien nuevo que pueda borrar la tristeza de un desamor, es una especie de plegaria que hace un llamado a ese otro ser que pueda borrar la tristeza, esta escrita por Jorge Luis Chacín, entonces es música escrita por un venezolano y cantada por venezolanos.
