Este juego se divide en dos modos: Arcade y Simulación.

El Modo Arcade consiste en carreras rápidas con autos de serie (como salieron de fábrica).

This game is divided into two modes: Arcade and Simulation.

The Arcade Mode consists of fast races with production cars (as they left the factory).

Aquí podemos competir contra otros cinco autos, tratar de batir nuestros records de pista o jugar contra otro jugador.

Al principio se cuentan con siete marcas de autos (Nissan, Honda, Acura, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Aston Martin y Chevrolet) y cuatro circuitos.

Here we can compete against five other cars, try to beat our track records or play against another player.

At the beginning there are seven car brands (Nissan, Honda, Acura, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Aston Martin and Chevrolet) and four circuits.

Debemos correr en estos cuatro circuitos con las tres categorías de autos (A, B y C) en cada uno para desbloquear cuatro circuitos más y al realizar lo mismo en estos nuevos cuatro circuitos, desbloquearemos cuatro marcas de autos más (Toyota, Subaru, Dodge y TVR).

Cabe acotar que todos estos circuitos son propios de la saga Gran Turismo y no existen en la realidad.

En este modo encontraremos un mapa donde hay varios menús y se encuentran dispersas todas las marcas de autos que mencioné anteriormente. Uno inicia con 10.000 créditos, con los cuales se debe comprar un auto usado en alguna marca de auto que los ofrezca. Además es buena idea iniciar cumpliendo las tareas de las licencias para obtenerlas cuanto antes y con ello no tener restricciones debido a ellas a las carreras que se puedan ingresar.

Al ir compitiendo y ganando carreras, se obtendrán créditos, estos créditos se pueden utilizar para comprar más autos (nuevos, usados o especiales) o modificar los autos que tenemos (mejorar motor, transmisión, suspensión, neumáticos, reducción de peso y modificación de carrocería)

When competing and winning races, credits will be obtained, these credits can be used to buy more cars (new, used or special) or modify the cars we have (improve engine, transmission, suspension, tires, weight reduction and body modification)

Otra forma de obtener autos es ganando campeonatos, en los que obtendremos créditos y un auto de serie o auto especial (dependiendo del campeonato que se realice).

El Subaru Impreza, el clásico auto de las carreras de rally. En el modo arcade (donde está de serie) es el auto con mejor agarre en curva de ese modo de juego, esto permite que puedas ir a mayor velocidad en las curvas que el resto de autos, ideal para circuitos técnicos donde no se requiera de mucha velocidad punta.

En el modo simulación me encanta la estética del Subaru Impreza Rally Edition, tiene una aceleración tremenda que deja atrás a todos los demás en la línea de partida y al salir de curvas cerradas, aunque su velocidad punta es demasiado baja (al menos que se hagan reglajes a las transmisión para ganar velocidad punta a costa de aceleración). Este fue uno de los primeros autos que compré la primera vez que jugué Gran Turismo, sin embargo su velocidad punta tan baja me desilucionó bastante.

The Subaru Impreza, the classic rally car. In the arcade mode (where it is stock) it is the car with the best grip in the curves of that game mode, this allows you to go faster in the curves than the rest of the cars, ideal for technical circuits where not much top speed is required.

In simulation mode I love the aesthetics of the Subaru Impreza Rally Edition, it has a tremendous acceleration that leaves behind everyone else on the starting line and when exiting tight corners, although its top speed is too low (unless you make adjustments to the transmission to gain top speed at the expense of acceleration). This was one of the first cars I bought the first time I played Gran Turismo, however its low top speed disappointed me quite a bit.

El Mitsubishi GTO Twin Turbo (de serie) fue el auto que más utilizaba en el modo arcade cuando era niño, hasta que desbloquee el Subaru Impreza en ese modo.

En el modo simulación, el GTO LM Edition, que es la edición especial de competición de la línea Mitsubishi GTO, es impresionante. Además de tener una apariencia bellísima, también tiene buena aceleración, velocidad máxima y agarre en curva gracias a su tracción a las cuatro ruedas. Cuando jugué este juego en mi PS1 años atrás, este fue el auto con el que logré ganar la última Liga Gran Turismo en aquel entonces.

The Mitsubishi GTO Twin Turbo (stock) was the car I used most in arcade mode as a child, until I unlocked the Subaru Impreza in that mode.

In simulation mode, the GTO LM Edition, which is the special competition edition of the Mitsubishi GTO line, is impressive. In addition to looking beautiful, it also has good acceleration, top speed and cornering grip thanks to its four-wheel drive. When I played this game on my PS1 years ago, this was the car with which I managed to win the last Gran Turismo League at that time.
