♔ CHESS COACHING: Saturday's Thematic Tournament on the London System and the Getting Ready for the Hyper Accelerated Dragon (Lichess Study included!) ♟

Hey everybody! Especially to the members of the Hive Chess Community! I have another lesson of our traditional series of Chess Coaching for #HiveChess.

We're going to examine a couple of games played last week in the thematic Tournament in order to give some feedback for the community members on the London System. Let's remember that the starting position was the one we reach via this move order: 1. d4 d5 2. Bf4. The games are provided below.

We're also going to discuss an opening line for tomorrow's tournament which will be all about the Hyper Accelerated Dragon, a quite tricky opening indeed. Since it is way too theoretical, we only focus on a promising sideline for white, which could potentially be effective against some fans of the Hyper Accelerated Dragon. Even if we fail to beat those players, we're still learning a few things and getting better by brushing up our lines.

You can take a look a the public Lichess Study I created for this lesson. Feel free to join and download it if you wish.

Well, I think the video is self-explanatory, so I hope you enjoy watching it. Don't forget to share the post and video and let me know what you think in the comments section.

One more time, I congratulate and thank @schamangerbert for his idea to organize thematic training tournaments on Saturdays. That's great for us to practice these ideas and improve. And with the same enthusiasm I want to invite everyone to join the weekend tournaments we are having, like the traditional Friday tournament with @stayoutoftherz and the new Sunday Chess Brothers League by @chessbrotherspro.
