Mathematical Problem of Knitting (part 04) in Bengali

নিটিং এ যারা জব করেন বা ফেব্রিক ম্যানুফেকচারিং এর ছাত্র তাদের জন্য নিটিং (Knitting) এর গানিতিক সমস্যাগুলো অনেক গুরুত্বপূর্ন। আমরা জানি, নিটিং এর মূল কাজ সেটিং পয়েন্ট ও ক্যাল্কুলেশন সংক্রান্ত। তাই আমি ধারাবাহিকভাবে Knitting এর যাবতীয় গানিতিক সমস্যাগুলো আলোচনা করেছি। আশা করি এই ম্যাথগুলো মনোযোগ দিয়ে দেখার পর আপনার Knitting Calculation and Mathematics এ আর তেমন কোন সমস্যা থাকবে না।

আজকে তৃতীয় পর্বে সাধারন কিছু গানিতিক সমস্যা নিয়ে আলোচনা করেছি।
আজকের আলোচিত ম্যাথগুলোঃ

1. A single jersey fabric is made on a machine with 2040 needles with 28 courses per inch from 17s cotton count yarn and 80 stitches per foot. Calculate the weight per linear yard. [0.6 lb]

2. If four samples of four-square inch each, weight 32 grains (total weight) and the jersey fabric is 16-inch tubing, determine the weight per linear yard. [0.329 lb]

3. If a sample analysis shows that the single jersey structure has 30 cpi, 24 wpi, length of yarn for 50 stitches is 8.75 inches and the count of yarn is 15s cotton. Calculate the weight in oz per square yards of fabric. [5.76 oz]

4. If on a 21” m/c, the shrinkage ratio for plain jersey is 2.72 and cpi are 32 with 24s cotton count (cc). Calculate weight per linear yards [0.285 lb]

[Note: Shrinkage ratio = length of yarn in one course / circumference of the machine]
