    Today i am sharing my class lecture on Mathematics problems on winding.
    In this winding calculation i shall solve 20 mathematical problem.
    15 are normal in the part 01 and 02 of this topic. And rest 5 problems are traversing related. You know, Winding means transform of spinning yarn from one suitable package to another suitable packages.

    Here are the 15 problems i shall solve one by one on winding.
    Problems on Winding

    1. Calculate the actual production per day of 8 hours of a winding machine of 150 drums, if the calculated production per minute per drum is 1400 metres per minute. Take the efficiency as 85%. Calculate also the weight of yarn actually wound, if the yarn count is 20 tex.

    2. Production of pirn winding machine per shift per spindle is 10 lbs for 30s cotton yarn. If the machine runs at 500 m/min then calculate efficiency.

    3. Calculate the time that would be needed to wind 2000 kg of 40 tex yarn. The number of drums available is 100 and the actual production per drum per minute is 1000 metres.

    4. Calculate the number of drums required for winding 750 kg of 25 tex cotton yarn in a day of 8 hours, if the actual production per drum per min. is 1040 metres. [60 drums]

    5. An warping machine is preparing warp with 500 ends. The actual production of the machine is 18000 metres of warp per hour. If the actual production of the winding drum per minute is 1040 metres, calculate the number of winding drums required to supply yarn to the warping machine. Allow 0.5% as waste of yarn. [145 drums]

    6. A superspeed winding machine has a calculated winding speed of 1300 metres per second. If the actual production per winding drum per day of 8 hours is 499.2 km. Calculate the efficiency. [80%]

    7. The time taken for winding a full prin on a super speed automatic pirn winding machine without any stoppage during the period is 2.5 minutes. The weight of the yarn on the pirn is 50 gm and the count of the yarn is 25 tex. Calculate the actual production of a machine with 6 spindles per day of 8 hours, if the efficiency is 85%. [49 kg]

    8. Calculate the time required to wind 130 kg of 28s cotton on 6 spindles of a super speed automatic pirn winding machine having an actual production of 650 m/min.

    9. Calculate the number of spindles required to wind 50 kg of 18 tex cotton in 8 hrs, if the actual production per spindle per minute is 450 metres.

    10. If the average quantity of weft required per loom per hr is 2 lbs and the production calculated per spindle of a modern high speed pirn winder per hr is 3 lbs. Calculate the no of spindle required for supplying weft to 70 looms. The efficiency is 90% and ignore wastage.

    11. The rate of winding of modern high speed cone winding machine is 700 yards/min. Calculate the no. of spindles that would be required to wind 5000 hanks of 24s cotton yarn in 4 hrs. Ignore waste and assume efficiency 90%.

    12. Calculate the time required for winding 20s to produce a cone containing 6 lbs of yarn on super speed cone winding machine. The rate of winding is 1260 yards/min and efficiency 80%.

    13. Calculate the time required for winding 1,40,000 lbs of 24s yarn on 300 high speed winding drums each of which has a calculated rate of winding of 600 m/min. The efficiency is 92%.

    14. The winding rate of a high speed winding machine is 800 yds/min. How many drums will be required to wound 388 lbs of 40s count yarn in 8 hrs with 84% efficiency and 1% wastage.

    15. Calculate the production in kg and hank of 40 high speed winding machine, each having 25 drum, for a shift of 8 hours. Winding rate per drum is 600m/min. [Assume efficiency 85%, wastage 0.25%, and yarn count 24s]

    এই অধ্যায়ে আমি 20 টেক্সটাইল ক্যাল্কুলেশন বা Weaving এর Winding বিষয়ক মেথ সমস্যা নিয়ে আলোচনা করব। ১৫ টি অংক উপরে দেয়া আছে।
