THE FIRST VIDEO I POSTED: THE REASON I STAYED

Hello, Hivers.

I was scrolling through my Instagram page and I came across this video. This was the very first video I ever shared on this platform.

This video is the reason I did not quit Hive then. I remember texting the person that introduced me to Hive then, @jaydr, that I was tired of the platform and my posts weren't getting upvoted. I stayed up late to finish up a freelance writing job I had to complete. I checked my peakd page at around 3am to notice that the video had been upvoted significantly. I texted my mentor immediately to say I wasn't quitting again😂.

I am glad I didn't quit this platform because it later grew to mean more to me that just a money-making platform, despite the fact that medial school has had me in a chokehold and I haven't nearly been consistent on the platform.

Still, I am glad to be here.
