Le conversaba a mi nueva amiga, compañera de fe y pasión, que en nuestra comunidad hay un evento magno (Hive Open mic) que nos proponía temáticas semanales distintas y, justo esta semana la temática es "hacer el trabajo".

La canción que vino a mi mente fue "¿En dónde están los regalos?", compuesta hace muy poco por mi amable autora y amiga H. Chaparro. Es una canción que habla un poco sobre la transición de adolescente a la vida adulta; más que todo, se trata de las añoranzas, las vivencias de ayer que son irremediablemente irrepetibles.

La querida Kelly, me contaba hace poco sobre sus pasiones y oficios, algunas vivencias y de sus días tan agotadores; por eso considero apropiado limitarme a dejar un saludo cordial por la noche o el día, porque ya no somos esos chicos de 16, ¿No? Con más tiempo libre y menos afanes.

La línea temporal de nuestras vidas es muy corta, muy corta para mi gusto. Los momentos felices también son escasos, muy pocos para mí. Pero agradezco a Dios por los años que me tocaron, las vivencias, y por las personas que coloca a mi lado; no me canso de decir que lo mejor que tengo no está dentro, sino afuera, son éstas personas realmente lo mejor de mí.

I was talking to my new friend, a companion of faith and passion, that in our community there is a great event (Hive Open mic) that proposed us different weekly themes and, just this week, the theme is "doing the work".

The song that came to mind was "Where are the presents?", composed very recently by my kind author and friend H. Chaparro. It's a song that talks a bit about transitioning from adolescence to adult life; more than anything, it is about the longings, the experiences of yesterday that are irremediably unrepeatable.

Dear Kelly, recently told me about her passions and jobs, some experiences and her exhausting days; That is why I consider it appropriate to limit myself to leaving a cordial greeting at night or during the day, because we are no longer those 16-year-olds, right? With more free time and less worries.

The timeline of our lives is very short, very short for my taste. Happy moments are also rare, very few for me. But I thank God for the years that touched me, the experiences, and for the people he places by my side; I never get tired of saying that the best I have is not inside, but outside, these people are really the best of me.
