Sombre en los Médanos desde los Médanos de Coro: ¡qué bonita experiencia!

Y en esta visita a la tierra que me vio nacer, mi querido Coro, no podía perder la oportunidad de interpretar uno de los temas más emblemáticos de la ciudad como lo es SOMBRA DE LOS MÉDANOS, con el ingrediente especial de hacerlo desde los propios MÉDANOS DE CORO, Parque Nacional caracterizado por grandes extensiones de aren y en su interior se pueden apreciar la vegetación típica de la zona “EL CUJÍ”, algunas variedades de CACTUS. Lamentablemente cuando llegué, específicamente a las 6:40 pm los encargados de la seguridad del parque no me permitieron el ingreso al mismo, por lo que tuve que hacer mi presentación musical desde la franja de seguridad.

And in this visit to the land where I was born, my beloved Coro, I could not miss the opportunity to interpret one of the most emblematic themes of the city as it is SOMBRA DE LOS MÉDANOS, with the special ingredient of doing it from the MÉDANOS DE CORO, National Park characterized by large expanses of sand and inside you can see the typical vegetation of the area "EL CUJÍ", some varieties of CACTUS. Unfortunately when I arrived, specifically at 6:40 pm, the park security officers did not allow me to enter the park, so I had to make my musical presentation from the security strip.

“SOMBRA EN LOS MÉDANOS” tema del gran compositor falconiano Rafal Sánchez López “RAFUCHE”, sin lugar a dudas me trae bonitos recuerdos de mi Coro querido, de allí a que a medida que interpretaba esta melodía con mi flauta dulce, surgían en la presentación diversas imágenes de la cuidad, la mayoría de ellas acompañado por mi madre Yolanda Santana, por lo que aprovecho la oportunidad de invitarte a que veas el recurso audiovisual que encabeza esta publicación.

Acá apreciamos la calle de piedra que da acceso al paseo LA ALAMEDA y a diversas edificaciones importantes de la época colonial como “LA CASA DE LAS VENTANAS DE HIERRO”, “EL BALCÓN DE LOS ARCAYAS”, “LA CASA DEL SOL” y ”EL TEMPLO DE SAN CLEMENTE” entre tantos otros. Como pueden apreciar el sol típico de Coro, donde siempre te va a provocar una bebida que esté bien fría o bien helada.

Here we appreciate the stone street that gives access to the promenade LA ALAMEDA and several important buildings of the colonial era as "LA CASA DE LAS VENTANAS DE HIERRO", "EL BALCÓN DE LOS ARCAYAS", "LA CASA DEL SOL" and "EL TEMPLO DE SAN CLEMENTE" among many others. As you can appreciate the typical sun of Coro, where it will always provoke a drink that is either cold or icy cold.

Acá al fondo por ejemplo apreciamos al famoso “BALCÓN DE LOS ARCAYAS”, una mirada al horizonte donde la calle de piedras pareciera no tener fin. Recuerdo que desde niño me aprendí este tema “SOMBRA EN LOS MÉDANOS”, lo escuché muchas veces también de parte de mi tío Nano interpretarlo con su arpa, por lo que fue bastante especial interpretarlo ya de adulto; y hacerlo por primera vez desde el parque nacional MÉDANOS DE CORO, es una experiencia invaluable.

Here in the background, for example, we can appreciate the famous "BALCÓN DE LOS ARCAYAS", a look at the horizon where the street of stones seems to have no end. I remember that since I was a child I learned this song "SOMBRA EN LOS MÉDANOS", I also heard it many times from my uncle Nano interpreting it with his harp, so it was quite special to interpret it as an adult; and doing it for the first time from the national park MÉDANOS DE CORO, is a priceless experience.
