Undoubtedly a sporting festival, where besides interacting with the protagonists of the same, we enjoyed some spectacular exhibitions of fronton doubles modality, so you can not miss the audiovisual resource that heads this publication, dedicating the written version to make a brief synopsis of what was this pleasant experience, whose flag was the Fronton.
Here we appreciate one of the many matches of the day, a great waste of level in each of them. It is worth mentioning that one of the most exciting matches of the day was a quarterfinal match between Juan Carlos Salas - Frank Guerrero and Jean Carlos-Richard, representing teams A and B respectively:
This quarterfinal duel was quite close, being necessary to reach a third set, a set where the experience of the experienced players Juan Carlos Salas - Frank Guerrero prevailed. At the end of the match we were able to interact with the protagonists of this important match. In this sense, we started the interaction with Juan Carlos Salas:
Juan Carlos tells us that Fronton training transcends the sport itself, it is necessary a bit of gym, running, he even tells us that he practices TRX. Also Juan Carlos says that he was already more than 10 years away from competitions, and returning to the courts to obtain important victories transmits him an important dose of joy. Of course we could not fail to interact with teammate Frank Guerrero:
Frank Guerrero, a player with more than 30 years of experience in Fronton, talks about the serenity that must be maintained in the dispute of each point, and reflects that this was the key to victory, beating a much younger team, that is, the team formed by Jean Carlos and Richard:
These two athletes, despite the bitter taste of defeat, showed a positive attitude, enhancing the importance of playing sports, enjoying in a healthy way thanks to Fronton, at the same time they extended their words of respect and admiration to the A team, pointing out that they are highly experienced players. And if we are talking about experienced players, in the tournament was nothing more and nothing less than a legend of the Arequipa fronton, this athlete is none other than the master Manuel Franco:
We had a few minutes interaction with Manuel Franco, in which he told us that he started playing fronton at the age of 6 years old, and that he was trained in this sport in the prestigious facilities of the International Club of Arequipa. He tells us about a heart attack final that he lost in his youth, but that it was the impetus to evolve and later become champion of Arequipa for more than 05 consecutive years, undoubtedly a legend of the sport, so I recommend that you see the interview that was conducted, which you can find in the first minutes of the audiovisual resource.
