Hola amigos || Hello friends

Bienvenidos una vez más a este viaje que ya tenemos acostumbrado a realizar cada semana. Una manera simple y simpática de encontrarnos con ese niño que poseemos muy dentro de nosotros y que por muchísimas otras obligaciones de adultos olvidamos que aún existe. En mi propia experiencia les comento que esta es una manera de desestresarse del mundo y sus problemáticas. Pero no está mal sentirse niño de vez en cuando. Eso sin duda nos hace entender y comprender que la vida es uno de los regalos más grandiosos que Dios no ha ofrecido.

^{Welcome once again to this trip that we are used to make every week. A simple and nice way to meet with that child that we have deep inside us and that because of many other adult obligations we forget that he still exists. In my own experience I can tell you that this is a way to de-stress from the world and its problems. But it is not bad to feel like a child from time to time. It certainly makes us understand that life is one of the greatest gifts God has ever given us.}

En este viaje al pasado de los videojuegos estaremos visitando otro gran clásico videojuego de la NES y hablo del "Konami Hyper Olympic" un videojuego que no fue muy amados por todos, ya que su dinámica era muy simple pero digan lo que digan, para mí fue uno de esos videojuegos que forman parte de mi niñez y si, también de muchos de ustedes. Este clásico de la NES por supuesto tuvo sus inicios en los gabinetes Arcade y para su época se hacían filas para poder jugarlo y el que no lo jugaba, de seguro estaba acompañando de otros con gritos y emociones por saber quién realizaría el mayor puntaje. Tanto es así, que cuando llegó a la Nes no habían cambiado mucho, aun la emoción de competir existía.

^{In this trip to the past of video games we will be visiting another great classic video game of the NES and I'm talking about "Konami Hyper Olympic" a video game that was not very loved by everyone, because its dynamics was very simple but whatever they say, for me it was one of those video games that are part of my childhood and yes, also of many of you. This NES classic of course had its beginnings in the Arcade cabinets and for its time there were lines to play it and whoever did not play it, was surely accompanied by others with screams and emotions to know who would make the highest score. So much so, that when it came to the Nes not much had changed, even the excitement of competing existed.}

Una de las cosas que más me gustaba de este videojuego era que tenías que esforzarte al máximo golpeando esos botones para poder llegar a la meta en el tiempo correcto para poder pasar a la siguiente fase. Es aquí donde le digo que no a todos les gustaba este videojuego. Era muy simple pero sinceramente, con una adrenalina increíble ja ja ja... y si, definitivamente, teníamos que preocuparnos en como le pegábamos a los botones... Recuerdo que muchas veces nos poníamos a practicar la velocidad de los dedos, o sea, ejercitábamos nuestras manos como forma de calentamiento para luego iniciar la partida y nuestra contienda. Cómo niños nos encantaba hacer este tipo de cosas, ya que son eso, cosas de niños.

^{One of the things I liked most about this video game was that you had to try your hardest hitting those buttons in order to reach the goal in the right time to be able to move on to the next stage. This is where I tell you that not everyone liked this video game. It was very simple but honestly, with an incredible adrenaline rush ha ha ha... and yes, we definitely had to worry about how we hit the buttons.... I remember that many times we would practice the speed of our fingers, that is, we would exercise our hands as a way to warm up and then start the game and our contest. As children we loved to do this kind of things, because that's what they are, children's things.}

Al tiempo fui descubriendo algunos trucos que como verán en el gameplay se me hizo un poco difícil. Como por ejemplo, saltar justo en la línea blanca te daba casi un salto perfecto. Creo que debí calentar antes de iniciar mi carrera. Así como en el salto, había otras maneras de lograr un máximo puntaje. Me supongo que esta versión no iba a pasar lo mismo, pero lo intenté. Solo le faltó algo más de práctica. Lo que si les puedo garantizar es que me divertí mucho más recordando este videojuego que los anteriores que hemos visitado. Es que si, este tiene un no sé qué que me sigue atrapando.

^{Over time I discovered some tricks that, as you will see in the gameplay, became a little difficult for me. For example, jumping right on the white line gave you almost a perfect jump. I think I should have warmed up before starting my run. As well as jumping, there were other ways to achieve a maximum score. I figured this version wasn't going to be the same, but I tried. It just lacked a little more practice. What I can guarantee you is that I had much more fun remembering this video game than the previous ones we have visited. It's that yes, this one has a something that keeps catching me.}

Es extraño que la mayoría de estos videojuegos hayan salido antes que yo naciera y aun así, forman parte de una muy importante parte de mi vida. He estado pensando en adquirir una NES de esas que están actualmente saliendo pero no sé si pueda grabar desde esa consola mis propios Gameplay. Lo averiguaré. Sé que hay modelos HDMI y otros como los clásicos, con cable RCA. Pero sería cuestión de investigar. Lo tendré en cuenta o si alguno de ustedes sabrán esa información me sería muy útil.

^{It is strange that most of these video games came out before I was born and yet, they are part of a very important part of my life. I've been thinking about getting one of those NES that are currently coming out but I don't know if I can record from that console my own Gameplay. I will find out. I know there are HDMI models and others like the classic ones, with RCA cable. But it would be a matter of researching. I will keep that in mind or if any of you would know that information it would be very helpful to me.}

Esta manera de recordar y dar un paseo al pasado de los videojuegos me da la opción de disfrutar nuevamente de estos clásicos y eso le da un punto más de nostalgia cuando logro encontrar títulos como este que hoy les presento. Espero que haya sido de su agrado este corto pero nostálgico paseo.
