Hola amigos || Hello friends

^{As you know I have been reading a collection of poems by the Venezuelan writer Gustavo Pereira from which I have shared some poems with you. Today I want to share another one from that book. Each poem I read is better than the previous one but there is always one that impacts us more than others and in these pages it was this one that the writer titled ¨Fin de partida¨.}

^{Poetry is a very good tool to reflect on a world that shakes us and takes us away from it. Personally I find in poetry a world full of senses where everything is stripped to dress with subtle words. Reading poetry is a sensation that wants to lead you to care, to do, to love, to respect. They are darts that go straight to your senses. Some manage to awaken a tsunami of emotions. Undoubtedly reading is like witnessing a work of art. I remember reading a great phrase of the writer Vladimir Nabokov who said ¨We should not read with the heart or with the brain but with the body¨.}
