Bienvenido a otro viaje al pasado de los videojuegos. En esta ocasión viajaremos al espacio y visitaremos algunos planetas que para nosotros son totalmente desconocidos. Una de las sagas más importantes de la franquicia Nintendo y uno de los videojuegos con una legendaria historia. Desde su nacimiento en 1986 se ha popularizado de tal manera que hoy en día sigue siendo una de las sagas más importantes de la industria. Este emblemático personaje sin duda ha dejado una gran huella tanto en el pasado como en el presente. Hablo del androide conocido como Misc. Samus Aran.

^{Welcome to another trip to the past of videogames. This time we will travel to space and visit some planets that are totally unknown to us. One of the most important sagas of the Nintendo franchise and one of the video games with a legendary history. Since its birth in 1986 it has become so popular that today it is still one of the most important sagas in the industry. This iconic character has undoubtedly left a great mark both in the past and in the present. I'm talking about the android known as Misc. Samus Aran.}

Un dado curioso es que muchos pensábamos que Metroid era nuestro Heroe pero en realidad Metroid es un organismo depredador y como podemos detallar al inicio de este videojuego, muy parecido a una Medusa pero esta es capaz de adsorber toda la energía de cualquier ser vivo. Esta es la célula por la que nuestro héroe lucha para destruirla antes de que se expanda por todo el universo y consumirlo por completo.

^{A curious fact is that many of us thought that Metroid was our Hero but in reality Metroid is a predatory organism and as we can detail at the beginning of this video game, very similar to a Jellyfish but this is capable of absorbing all the energy of any living being. This is the cell for which our hero fights to destroy it before it expands throughout the universe and consume it completely.}

Este videojuego cuenta con una atmósfera de soledad y peligro al mismo tiempo. Esto se ve en la mayoría de sus títulos. Al igual que la musicalización como los diferentes escenarios que nos muestran. En todos, nos muestran una gran creatividad para introducir al jugador en el videojuego de tal manera que nos sentimos tan adentro del juego que cualquier cosa nos podría asustar o sorprender. Metroid es uno de esos videojuegos que se escapan de lo común para ser una combinación perfecta en todos los sentidos.

^{This video game has an atmosphere of loneliness and danger at the same time. This is seen in most of its titles. As well as the music and the different scenarios they show us. In all of them, they show us a great creativity to introduce the player in the videogame in such a way that we feel so inside the game that anything could scare or surprise us. Metroid is one of those video games that escape from the ordinary to be a perfect combination in every way.}

No había tenido la oportunidad de probar o más bien de jugar este Super Metroid y para ser un juego de los 90 tiene una historia y gráficos bastantes entretenidos. Tal como menciono anteriormente, tal cual a sus sucesores. Nada que envidiar. Buenos villanos, con una tremenda instrucción y mundos que explorar. Lastimosamente me quedé atrapado, pero de igual forma puedo regresar al punto donde realicé mi último resguardo. No cabe duda que este Super Metroid es la joya de la saga. Y entiendo el porqué de su popularidad.

^{I had not had the opportunity to try or rather play this Super Metroid and for a game from the 90's it has a very entertaining story and graphics. As I mentioned before, just like its successors. Nothing to envy. Good villains, with a tremendous instruction and worlds to explore. Unfortunately I got stuck, but I can still return to the point where I made my last save. There is no doubt that this Super Metroid is the jewel of the series. And I understand why it's so popular.}

En lo personal lo he dicho todo, me dio un poco de coraje quedarme atrapado donde me quedé pero aun así, definitivamente lo disfruté. Sobre todo esa escalofriante soledad que caracteriza al videojuego. Por supuesto que lo volvería a jugar. Tal vez no sea muy lejano y juntos podamos seguir en este viaje por la galaxia.

^{Personally I've said it all, it gave me a bit of courage to be stuck where I was but still, I definitely enjoyed it. Especially that creepy loneliness that characterizes the video game. Of course I would play it again. Maybe it won't be too far away and together we can continue on this journey through the galaxy.}

Una vez más agradecido por su compañía en este nuevo y nostálgico viaje. Disculpen ustedes por mis malas decisiones mientras jugaba pero como mencioné, esta es mi primera vez jugando Super Metroid. Espero que la hayan pasado estupendo a bordo de esta increíble nave. Mil gracias...
