Hello everyone, here I bring you the second Latin Piano class. As first I want to thank you for the support received for the first class that I published, thanks to this I have the necessary motivation to continue developing classes, which at this time are Latin music, however, I hope later to prepare classes of any type of gender.

** La Guajira **, is a Cuban singable genre of peasant origin, which has similarities with * punto cubano * and * criolla *, where the lyrics make particular reference to rural issues. Its name is due to the fact that in Cuba the inhabitants of rural areas are called * guajiros *, for that reason the music they made received the name of * Guajira *, which when combined with the * Son Cubano * generated the * * Guajira Son **, which is the genre we are working on.

In the first Latin piano class, we performed a * Guajira Son * in Key Major, which was composed of the chords C - F - G - F, each executed by measure. This harmonic cycle can be perfectly performed in a harmonic minor key, which would be made up of Cm - Fm - G - Fm, however this time I wanted to advance a little faster in order to make learning a little faster; in this case the harmonic cycle has a D chord instead of the first Fm, that is, Cm - D - G - Fm.

In the second part of the exercise, a change was made to * Cha cha chá *, another Cuban genus that unlike * Guajira *, its origin is more stylized, it is a direct descendant of * mambo * and * danzón * and was performed in the ballroom dances that were made for Cuban high society, however, the * guajira * and the * cha cha chá *, are directly intertwined, since the * danzón * and the * mambo *, are popular creations that they originated from Cuban folklore.

I hope the video is learning.
