Something special for you today, I woke up early on Wednesday, and recorded by the lake!
It was freezing, and had to warm up my fingers before playing haha, this is the best version, I enjoyed the first one because of the light, but this one is equally interesting with the fog.
I've been working on something this week on a personal note, but didn't think I would document it, I might write about it on Sunday.
I called it 7 charkras - 7 Days, and working on a charkrah each day. On this particular Wednesday, it was time to energize my blue chakrah on that day, what a better place than by the water...
Other peculiar events happened on that day, that resonated with the blue chakrah once more, it has always been my strongest energy, the voice.
So today I am singing to the life out there, to god, to the universe, to this game and it's listening with intent.
After recording, I feel an immense sense of gratefulness, of completeness. I am so thankful for having spent that morning there, it was a very important moment in my life, and I am happy to share it with you today.
I changed the song a little bit, to a man's perspective. It's the Fugee version, not the Roberta Flack's one.
There is a moment in the song when it says "And there she was a young boy", and I changed it to "And there she was a proud girl", which I found more suitable to the context.
Killing Me Softly With His Song
Fugees
Strumming my pain with his fingers
Singing my life with his words
Killing me softly with his song
Killing me softly with his song
Telling my whole life with his words
Killing me softly with his song
I heard he sang a good song, I heard he had a style
And so I came to see him, to listen for a while
And there he was, this young boy, a stranger to my eyes
Strumming my pain with his fingers (one time, one time)
Singing my life with his words (two times, two times)
Killing me softly with his song
Killing me softly with his song
Telling my whole life with his words
Killing me softly with his song
I felt all flushed with fever, embarrassed by the crowd
I felt he'd found my letters and read each one out loud
I prayed that he would finish, but he just kept right on
Strumming my pain with his fingers (one time, one time)
Singing my life with his words (two times, two times)
Killing me softly with his song
Killing me softly with his song
Telling my whole life with his words
Killing me softly with his song
Thanks for watching I hope you enjoyed it!
