al llegar a casa el sabado estuve viendo tv y despues de los acontecimientos de hace unas semanas con el submarino TITAN, en un canal estaban pasando la pelicula TITANIC de James Cameron. asi que me dispuse a disfrutar de esta magnifica pelicula.

When I got home on Saturday I was watching TV and after the events of a few weeks ago with the TITAN submarine, a channel was showing the movie TITANIC by James Cameron. So I got ready to enjoy this magnificent movie.

En unas escenas casi finales de la pelicula escuche un tema hermoso que los musicos de la pelicula titanic tocan momentos antes del hundimiento y este tema es muy melancolico, esta vez que vi la pelicula me quede con la intriga de como se llamaba el tema y busque en internet y se titula cerca de ti señor, segun testimonios de algunos sobrevivie dicen haber escuchado esta cancion cuando en la vida real el barco se hundio, otro aseguran no haber escuchado, no se tiene certeza de este hecho pero el director de la pelicula la incluyo esa escena.

In some scenes almost at the end of the movie, I heard a beautiful song that the musicians from the movie Titanic play moments before the sinking and this song is very melancholic. This time I saw the movie, I was left with the intrigue of what the song was called and I looked for it. on the internet and it is titled near you sir, according to the testimonies of some survivors, they say they heard this song when in real life the ship sank, others say they have not heard, there is no certainty of this fact but the director of the film I include that scene.

esta cancion escrita por Sarah Flower Adams quien fue una poetisa inglesa creo este hermoso himno religioso 1834, hace referencia a un pasaje biblico del libro del genesis 28:11-12. El dia de hoy les presento una version cuartero de saxo y trompeta, las partes las tome de internet y las transporte para sax alto y trompeta devido a las que encontre eran para cuerdas asi que hice una adaptacion distrubuyendo las voces para el saxo al melodia principal y segunda voz y la trompeta la tercera voz y el bajo.

This song written by Sarah Flower Adams who was an English poet created this beautiful religious hymn in 1834, it refers to a biblical passage from the book of Genesis 28:11-12. Today I present to you a quartet version for sax and trumpet, I took the parts from the internet and transported them for alto sax and trumpet due to the ones I found were for strings so I made an adaptation distributing the voices for the sax to the main melody and second voice and the trumpet the third voice and the bass.
