What's up guys? How are you all doing? I hope you guys are doing cool even in these tough times. Praise God 🙌🏾.

So, I haven't really been up here for about three days or so, but I'm back. What better way to get back up than to post another music video 🙂. This is my entry for @hiveopenmic contest week 132. The prompt is Women Life Freedom. I'd be playing an original song today. I actually wrote it today too, that's why I'm posting quite late (because I'm not good at memorizing lyrics quickly, lol).

Anyway, the name of this song is Woman, Don't Go.

Inspired by the prompt, the lyrics tell a story of a poor single mother who was basically abused by her husband who left her and her little child alone. The chorus of the song seeks to encourage the mother who keeps trying all her best to raise her child alone, and at the same time, trying to keep her own soul away from death because of anxiety and depression, hence the title of the song Woman, Don't Go, asking her not to go to sleep yet.

¿Qué pasa chicos? ¿Como están? Espero que estén bien, incluso en estos tiempos difíciles. Alabado sea Dios 🙌🏾.

Realmente no he estado aquí durante unos tres días, pero he vuelto. Qué mejor manera de volver a levantarse que publicar otro video musical 🙂. Esta es mi entrada para el concurso @hiveopenmic semana 132. El mensaje es Mujeres, vida, libertad. Estaría tocando una canción original hoy. De hecho, también lo escribí hoy, es por eso que estoy publicando bastante tarde (porque no soy bueno memorizando letras rápidamente, jajaja).

De todos modos, el nombre de esta canción es Woman, Don't Go.

Inspirada en el mensaje, la letra cuenta la historia de una madre soltera pobre que básicamente fue abusada por su esposo, quien la dejó a ella y a su pequeño hijo solos. El estribillo de la canción busca alentar a la madre que sigue haciendo todo lo posible por criar sola a su hijo, y al mismo tiempo, tratando de mantener su propia alma alejada de la muerte a causa de la ansiedad y la depresión, de ahí el título de la canción* Mujer, no te vayas,* pidiéndole que no se duerma todavía.
