Music has become a part of my everyday thoughts and musings.
Though the stress of work as a practicing medical doctor and videographer can sometimes be quite draining and push out the time to create music, I still consciously create time to make music and cool off in the process.
I always love music innovation. I combine influences from different concepts in music and cook it with a story behind the concepts. It gives meaning the motions and attitudes of the various parts of the music.
I'm still budding as a music producer, so most of my works are still a little crude. But to the best of my knowledge and what I have to work with, I make music!
I'd been working on an album since the later part of last year, due to be released sometime this year.
But before dropping that I'll be releasing a few teaser singles.
This music, "Quantum" was inspired by a concept I once understood from listening to professional industry-level musicians.
The concept says - IF YOU CAN IMPROVISE ONE MUSIC IN ONE KEY, FOLLOWING ONLY ONE PROGRESSION AND CHORD PATTERN, YOU CAN PRETTY MUCH IMPROVISE ON MOST KEYS.
I decided to try this out. I produced the beat and backtrack and then improvised on the saxophone over the music.
I didn't think of how I was going to arrange it. I just picked the sax and improvised in ONE TAKE.
This was the result...
"QUANTUM"
