Is CryptoBrewMaster Mining Crypto in Your Browser?!?

While playing CryptoBrewMaster for the first time, I noticed something strange; my GPU fans were blazing like it was 2018 and I was mining Monero $XMR.

Naturally, I checked all other windows before coming to the hypothesis: CBM may be browser-mining crypto.

I didn't dig deep enough to know for sure, but this short video proves there's a strong possibility and I want to bring it to the attention of the community.

I used to browser mine on most of my website back in 2018-19 so i sort-of understand the need for hidden income streams. In some cases I hid a miner in my client's website but no matter how low the settings, it is always detrimental to your visitors PC's and is a total deal breaker if the client finds out.

Over-all, it's a terrible practice and should be reserved for crypto faucets and incentivised traffic ONLY.

The safest way to monetize blockchain DApps and crypto related website (early on) is to use anonymous targeted crypto ad campaigns. Personally, I prefer using A-Ads

By no means am I bashing CBM --it's actually hella fun. However browser mining without prior notice is bad m'kay. If done negligently it can damage PC's globally over time. Yes, the sky is falling. There are alternate ways to monetize blockchain games, including traditional CPM ads and affiliate services.
