Do you know freeze-dried coffee? I show it to you [English Subtitles]

What I am sharing with you today may be common in your country, or maybe not, I say this because I am originally from Venezuela and I know perfectly well that this type of coffee does not exist there. I got to know this interesting variation or version of coffee when I arrived to live in Lima, Peru. Evidently when you move to another country you have to start adapting to the different products that are consumed there and that are certainly very different from what you are used to.

So after trying several brands and types of coffees, I found the freeze-dried coffee of the local brand "Altomayo". This is an instant and low cost coffee that perfectly meets the characteristics of a coffee that can be consumed on a daily basis. One of the changes that I went through, for better or for worse, is that I never again consumed filtered coffee in the traditional way or from a coffee pot, of course, I am referring to the coffee that I consume at home, obviously when I go out to the street I take the opportunity to taste different types and of higher quality.

But even though I say that it is instant and low cost, it has a very natural and intense flavor to which you can get used to perfectly without feeling that you are consuming a non-traditional coffee, that is to say, that this company that elaborates it has come up with an almost perfect formula.

As you can see in the photos, freeze-dried coffee comes in grains (not in the form of coffee obviously) and is easy to prepare, just add it in a cup with hot water and whisk it for a few seconds so that it is ready to be consumed. According to what I have read, freeze-dried coffee is the result of a process in which coffee powder is moistened with the intention that other particles adhere to it, thus creating easily dissolved granules.
