El día de ayer tuvimos el partido por la Súpercopa de Europa entre el Real Madrid y el Eintracht Frankfurt, campeón de la Champions League y de la Europa League respectivamente. Como muchos, yo esperaba ver al Real Madrid ganando este trofeo, y dentro de todo, se puede decir que el partido termino sin muchas sorpresas y como se esperaba.

El primer tiempo tuvo buenas oportunidades de gol para ambos equipos e incluso el Frankfurt bien pudo haber tomado la ventaja con un mano a mano que tuvieron contra el portero del Madrid. Pero todo el partido cambió en el segundo tiempo puesto que el equipo Blanco domino completamente esos 45 minutos, e incluso bien pudieron haber goleado nada más en ese tiempo.

Me pareció llamativo que Ancelotti decidiera darle entrada a Ceballos antes que a Hazard o Asensio, y por supuesto me gustó que tanto Rudiger como Tchouaméni, que son los 2 nuevos fichajes, contaran con algunos minutos en el segundo tiempo.

En esta temporada se puede decir que el Madrid tiene 11 jugadores suplentes de altísimo nivel, y de alguna forma me recuerda al 11a y al 11b que Zidane usó en la temporada 2016-2017 para gestionar los minutos en lor períodos más intensos de la temporada. Tanto Rudiger como Tchouaméni son absolutamente claves en permitir que esto sea posible.

Por último, ya por fin vamos a tener el comienzo del resto de las ligas europeas, y me parece que la española va a estar mucho más pareja que la temporada pasada.

Yesterday we had the match for the European Super Cup between Real Madrid and Eintracht Frankfurt, champions of the Champions League and the Europa League respectively. Like many, I expected to see Real Madrid winning this trophy, and taking everything into account, it can be said that the match ended without many surprises and as expected.

The first half had good scoring opportunities for both teams and even Frankfurt may well have taken the lead with a one-on-one they had against the Madrid goalkeeper. But the whole game changed in the second half since the White team completely dominated those 45 minutes, and they could even have scored 3 goals or more in that time alone.

I found it striking that Ancelotti decided to give Ceballos entry before Hazard or Asensio, and of course I liked that both Rudiger and Tchouaméni, who are the 2 new signings, had some minutes in the second half.

In this season it can be said that Madrid has 11 substitute players of the highest level, and in some way it reminds me of the 11a and 11b that Zidane used in the 2016-2017 season to manage the minutes in the most intense periods of the season. Both Rudiger and Tchouaméni are absolutely key in making this possible.

Finally, we will finally have the beginning of the rest of the European leagues, and it seems to me that the Spanish will be much more even than last season.
