I had high expectations about this film. One of their marketing campaigns went viral because it took place in American baseball stadiums and they used a bunch of actors creepily smiling straight at the camera. I loved that campaign and was hoping the story to be as original as their marketing strategies.

Having watched the movie, I can say it is certainly worth watching. But the supernatural part of the plot is like a mix between The Ring and It follows, which were 2 excellent horror films.

There are several good horror scenes, and even from the beginning of the film, we can confirm this is going to be a proper horror story.

I would have liked to know more about the true origins of the paranormal element, but I was happy with the film and consider it among the best horror productions of the year along with Barbarian.

Tenía grandes expectativas sobre esta película. Una de sus campañas de marketing se volvió viral porque tuvo lugar en estadios de béisbol estadounidenses y utilizaron un grupo de actores sonriendo espeluznantemente directamente a la cámara. Me encantó esa campaña y esperaba que la historia fuera tan original como sus estrategias de marketing.

Después de haber visto la película, puedo decir que ciertamente vale la pena verla. Pero la parte sobrenatural de la trama es como una mezcla entre The Ring y It follows, que fueron 2 excelentes películas de terror.

Hay varias buenas escenas de terror, e incluso desde el comienzo de la película, podemos confirmar que esta va a ser una historia de terror adecuada.

Me hubiera gustado saber más sobre los verdaderos orígenes del elemento paranormal, pero estaba contento con la película y la considero una de las mejores producciones de terror del año junto con Barbarian.
