Home minister text me to get food for the kids,
instruction was to head to The Curve, about 4km from our house
to fetch some J.Co donut for the next day due to public holiday, nobody
wanna get up early on a public holiday yo.
Think I made a small mistake without surveying and straightaway parked in the mall, but there's absolutely nothing happen here and I think I'm the only "customer" walking around trying to find food. Many of these shops are permanently closed, and suddenly feels myself very thin in that mirror yo.
This part of the mall supposed to have many eateries, and there's nothing here anymore. I think most of the shops are already half life before the pandemic, but now, I don't think anyone will hold on to a shop that can't generate revenue.
Finally, I had to drive the car out of the car park, and stopped by the roadside by the main entrance of the mall, to found out the mall is not in business. Fortunately, the donut shop is in business.
Not as much variety as they were, I remember they used to have tons of selection. Everytime when I come to J.Co, I will have trouble deciding what to eat. But this time around, I only got half a dozen of donut for the family.
On my way out of the donut shop, to found even McDonald's is closed. Dude this is pretty serious. The self service kiosk is still there, so I assume this is not permanent, may be they close down couple of days for sanitization? Damn the bloody virus!
This is the thumbnail photo I used, which I was trying to capture a few delivery guys, but there's just too quiet, as soon as I point my phone towards them, they walked away from my camera. It's like a dead town.
