Hive Music Festival - Week N°28 - Round 1. Bass Cover of Lagos City. [ENG-ESP].

Hello friends and neighbors of the music zone community. My heart is thrilled with joy to be here today..

Some years ago when I was a toddler, when I see people on stage with the bass hung on their shoulder, I really used to admire it and always wish it was me. My aspirations to play the bass was on a level really high. Glad I didn't let that dream die or dim.

Some years later, I enrolled as a student to learn how to play the bass. The highs and lows on the way was just running me down but I held one thing to heart which was that every thing I needed to pull through this endeavor was behind those huddles so I couldn't give up. I pressed on and on untill I got here. This is me trying to introduce myself as a first timer in this community and a bass player. My name is David Thompson in full and I am happy to be in this week's hive music festival.

I've gone through the rules of turning in entries and I am glad they aren't cumbersome or insurmountable.

As it is my first time, and I brought you a bass cover of a song titled Lagos city sung by a Nigerian artist known by his stage name as Bella Shmurda. This guy began his music debut few years ago and he has made so much waves with ravishing melodies. A lot of persons love his style of music and I do too. So I did a bass cover of one his songs and I hope it'll tingle your music ear a lil bit. But for clarity of the bass, I recommend you please make use of headphones 🎧🎧🎧. Hola amigos y vecinos de la comunidad music zone. Mi corazón está emocionado de alegría de estar aquí hoy..

Hace algunos años, cuando era un niño pequeño, cuando veía a la gente en el escenario con el bajo colgado del hombro, realmente lo admiraba y siempre deseaba ser yo. Mis aspiraciones de tocar el bajo estaban en un nivel muy alto. Me alegro de no haber dejado que ese sueño muriera o se atenuara.

Unos años después, me matriculé como estudiante para aprender a tocar el bajo. Los altibajos en el camino me estaban agobiando, pero tenía una cosa en el corazón: todo lo que necesitaba para superar este esfuerzo estaba detrás de esos grupos, así que no podía rendirme. Seguí y seguí hasta que llegué aquí. Este soy yo tratando de presentarme como primerizo en esta comunidad y bajista. Mi nombre completo es David Thompson y estoy feliz de estar en el festival de música Hive de esta semana.

Revisé las reglas para entregar entradas y me alegro de que no sean engorrosas o insuperables.

Como es mi primera vez, les traje una versión de bajo de una canción titulada Ciudad de Lagos cantada por una artista nigeriana conocida por su nombre artístico como Bella Shmurda. Este chico comenzó su debut musical hace unos años y ha hecho mucho ruido con melodías deslumbrantes. Mucha gente ama su estilo de música y yo también. Así que hice una versión de bajo de una de sus canciones y espero que te haga vibrar un poco la música. Pero para la claridad de los graves, te recomiendo que utilices auriculares 🎧🎧🎧.
