¡Saludos amigos de Hive! espero se encuentren bien, hoy me siento muy feliz de poder traerles a ustedes algo de música que me hace sentir muy bien de verdad, se trata de una pieza que una vez mostré en la semana #80 del #Openmic pero hoy la traje en un pequeño ensamble de flautas dulces soprano, es decir, un dueto de dos flautas dulces del mismo rango, originalmente la canción está en una tonalidad que no me permite juntar ambas voces por lo grave que queda la segunda voz, por ello hice una pequeña adaptación en una tonalidad más alta y así encajan mejor ambas flautas dulces, aún no tengo la partitura transcrita en PDF pero tengo la partitura coral la cual sirvió de guía, si necesitan las otras me lo pueden hacer saber, espero les guste...

Desafortunadamente los hispanohablantes hemos sido muy descuidados con la historia de los himnos que han nacido de nuestra propia lengua. Esto ha ocurrido en parte porque muchas personas han compuesto himnos en nuestra región y se han dado a conocer de boca en boca como una especie de tradición oral, y en medio de esta cadena se termina perdiendo la información sobre los escritores y las circunstancias en las que nacieron estos himnos.

Sobre este himno en particular se sabe que fue escrito por los hermanos Felicia y mariano Beltrán aparentemente a mediados del siglo XX. La melodía fue compuesta por el misionero Robert C. Savage quien sirvió en varios países de américa latina. También trabajó en la estación radial HCJB como locutor, escritor, promotor y administrador. Robert tradujo varios himnos a nuestro idioma y creó la música y arreglo para muchos otros. También compiló varios cancioneros o himnarios. En los textos donde se le menciona se dice que era conocido por su espíritu alegre.

Regarding this particular hymn, it is known that it was written by the brothers Felicia and Mariano Beltrán, apparently in the middle of the 20th century. The melody was composed by missionary Robert C. Savage who served in several Latin American countries. He also worked at the HCJB radio station as a broadcaster, writer, promoter, and administrator. Robert translated various hymns into our language and created the music and arrangement for many others. He also compiled several songbooks or hymnals. In the texts where he is mentioned, it is said that he was known for his cheerful spirit.

Como les venía diciendo ésta es solo una partitura guía ya que no poseo el programa para trascribir partituras, tuve que transcribir y transportar la tonalidad original a la adaptación para las flautas en un cuaderno pentagramado.
