Don't call it SWAT❗️

After thinking Halo took away my favorite game mode, I found out that it just has a different name now. Headshots = Instant Kill in this mode. The name is Tactical Slayer, which I used to know as Swat. I'm pretty sure Halo is being censored, WTF! I'm guessing that the devs were pressured into no longer calling the game mode Swat since it relates to real-life police situations too much. That is literally the only thing that I can think of. Why else would 343 Studios change the name of one of their most beloved game modes? Check this thread on Reddit if you want to read more about what people think about this game mode's name change.

The funny thing about this is that Spligate has a game mode that is pretty much just like this mode and they call it Swat. It is as if Halo lost the right to call their game mode what they have always called it and Splitgate swooped in and seized the opportunity since they aren't bowing down to some giant corporation yet.

Another funny thing is that throughout this video I kept getting confused as to why my controller kept kicking me out of my scope while I was aiming in. I even believed that maybe something was wrong with my controller even though it has worked fine ever since I've owned it. Turns out it wasn't my controller at all. It seems as though any time you are aiming with the BR's scope and get hit by an enemy shot, it doesn't let you stay scoped in. This is really annoying and I honestly cannot remember if Halo has always been like this, it has been way too long for me. I know that Splitgate doesn't do that.

Speaking of Splitgate one last time, I play it on my PS5. I play Halo Infinite on my iMac with Xbox Cloud Gaming. I notice a major difference in my twitch aiming skills between my console and streaming on my computer. I am so much better at nailing every headshot when playing on console. I'm decent in Halo Infinite from the cloud, but I can tell that it is holding me back. I feel this more with the Tactical Slayer mode than I do with regular. Just something to point out, this is not me at my best.
