    About :

    This is my rendition of the famous Bach Liebster Jesu, wir sind hier, BWV 731. It was recorded on the organ of Laurenskerk in Rotterdam, Netherlands, using the Hauptwerk VPO software. The literal translation is "Blessed Jesus, at thy word" and it's a setting of a German hymn tune. Many organ students will get to learn this work because it provides opportunity to choose a solo and accompaniment registration. The first section of the piece has a repeat, so I have opted to vary the registration here before returning to the original.

    The solo registrations used were Principal 8' and Flute 8' + 2+2/3' + 1+3/5'. As I only have a two manual instrument in my studio, I attach the Rugwerk and Borstwerk to the upper manual, and the Hoofdwerk and Bovenwerk to the lower manual. You will see in the simulated console video that they are all coupled up!

    There are no shortages of renditions of this Liebster Jesu on YouTube and across the internet, but I do believe this is a first for @threespeak!

    Yours truly,
    @contrabourdon
