This is my rendition of Charles Callahan's Adoro te devote Op. 74, No. 2. It's a setting based on the Gregorian Chant, Adoro te devote.
The tune is initially presented in the pedals on the 4' Flute with the accompaniment on strings. The 4' Flute was coupled down from the Grand Orgue as this organ does not have its own 4' Flute. When the tune appears a second time, it moves into the left hand (tenor region). I use the 8' Montre as the solo voice here. On the final presentation of the tune, Callahan calls for a 32' pedal and a little more on the Recit. As this is not available on this organ and to my musical judgement, I just opted to remain on the same registration until the end.
I hope you enjoy my rendition of this beautiful setting. I have produced the video so that the experience of drawing the stops, switching between my hands and the virtual console bring some realism to the recording.
