Reducing curation rewards will not decrease inflation

In this video I shared my opinion about reducing curation rewards.

Recently I read a post about reducing the curation rewards from one of the top witnesses in hive and I I think that will not help in decreasing inflation. I also checked almost all the comments and I see people worried if that will happen and a lot said that they will power down their hive if that will happen. I'm also not sure if I will keep building @dcooperation in that case or not. I'm powering up all the earnings there and delegating all my power to that account to make it grow and to have some influence in the blockchain to help people to keep being excited about hive and to keep creating collaborations to promote the blockchain to the world.

I think there are a lot of other ways to decrease the inflation and that;s by :

• Keeping the promotion on.
• Creating more communities.
• Creating more applications.
• Inviting more developers to build on hive.
• Finding investors who will be interested.
• Crossing our communities.
• Collaborating with other crypto communities.
• Listing hive in more exchanges.

Maybe there are other things that should be done like following the hype in crypto and supporting the defi ideas with whive or other things that are more important to do rather with playing with rewards. People are use to a system they worked on a long time to gather their audiance and to support each other. It will be hard for both creators and curators to accept an other change. It's too early to change that. I'm thinking even that the curation rewards should be increased to make more people power up and earn from their curation. Some of them will even buy more hive to power it up and that will reduce the inflation for sure !
