Muy buenos días, queridos Hivers amigos. Hoy les traigo un nuevo COVER que grabé con mucho amor para todos ustedes: ¡Corre, corre, corazón!
Mi propósito de estos vídeos que les hago cada tanto es recordarme que aún mi voz sigue aquí y que tengo un montón de personas maravillosas queriendo escucharme.

¡Corre! Es una balada lindísima interpretada por los hermanos Jesse & Joy, el dúo mexicano y fue producida por Martín Terefe. Lanzada el 4 de octubre de 2011 como el segundo sencillo del primer álbum de estudio de este dúo, titulado ¿Con quién se queda el perro? 2011.

Good morning, dear Hivers friends. Today I bring you a new COVER that I recorded with a lot of love for all of you: Run, run, heart!
My purpose of these videos that I bring you every now and then is to remind me that my voice is still here and that I have a lot of wonderful people wanting to listen to me.

Run! It's a beautiful ballad performed by the brothers Jesse & Joy, the Mexican duo and produced by Martin Terefe. Released on October 4, 2011 as the second single from the duo's first studio album, entitled ¿Con quién se queda el perro? 2011.

Está canción, al igual que unas cuantas más, era parte del repertorio que íbamos cantando mientras dábamos vueltas por mi ciudad dentro de Cristina, el auto de mi amigo Ignacio. Él manejaba y hacía ritmos en el volante, Andrés tocaba la guitarra y yo cantaba. Fueron días lindos aquellos, a pesar de las circunstancias. Lindos porque se afianzó una hermandad, una amistad bonita que ha perdurado con los años. Pero también vienen recuerdos duros a mi mente. Recuerdo que uno de nuestros paseos cantándola, fue mientras yo lloraba la pérdida de un gran amigo. Ellos, Nacho y Andrés, me acompañaron en ese duelo. Realmente, cada vez que escucho ¡Corre! Pienso en ellos y en todas esas tardes-noches que pasamos juntos.

This song, as well as a few others, was part of the repertoire we would sing as we drove around my city in Cristina, my friend Ignacio's car. He drove and made rhythms on the steering wheel, Andres played the guitar and I sang. Those were nice days, despite the circumstances. Nice because they strengthened a brotherhood, a beautiful friendship that has endured over the years. But hard memories also come to my mind. I remember that one of our walks singing it, was while I was mourning the loss of a great friend. They, Nacho and Andrés, accompanied me in that mourning. Actually, every time I hear ¡Corre! I think of them and all those evenings we spent together.

Después está esta letra desgarrante. La siento como una lucha entre el amor y la resignación. Cuando se ama se batalla por ello pero, llega un punto en que tienes que ponerte en tu propia balanza porque: NADA VALE MÁS QUE TÚ. Ese paso se da después de la decepción de tu amor ya fallido, y te resignas a que ya es insostenible entonces, lo dejas ir, o te vas.

Si me preguntan, para aquel tiempo (quizá 2016), cuando recorríamos la ciudad o nos sentábamos sobre el capó de Cristina en el estacionamiento de Ignacio, en el porche de mi casa o en algún otro lugar a donde nos llevara el día, cantaba pensando en ese amor que al final me hizo sentir la menos querida de la tierra. Ahora, con unos años más, otras experiencias, y un amor real, pienso en que sí, hay que dejar que se vaya lo que no te ama para dejar entrar en tu corazón lo que sí lo merezca. Cómo a ti misma, por ejemplo.

Then there is this heartbreaking lyric. I feel it as a struggle between love and resignation. When you love you fight for it but, there comes a point when you have to put yourself in your own balance because: NOTHING IS WORTH MORE THAN YOU. That step comes after the disappointment of your already failed love, and you resign yourself to the fact that it is already unsustainable then, you let it go, or you leave.

If you ask me, by that time (maybe 2016), when we drove around town or sat on Cristina's hood in Ignacio's parking lot, on the porch of my house or wherever else the day took us, I would sing thinking about that love that in the end made me feel the least loved on earth. Now, with a few more years, other experiences, and a real love, I think that yes, you have to let go of what doesn't love you to let into your heart what does deserve it. Like yourself, for example.

Si hoy le dedicase este tema a alguien, sería a esa Cleyna alguna vez destructiva de sí misma, esa muchacha que no se cuidaba, que se conformaba con atisbos de cariño, con poco amor, sumergida en una depresión. Ya a ella la conozco bien, y lo siento pero no; la abrazo, la perdono, la quiero, pero no soy más como ella.

If I were to dedicate this song to someone today, it would be to that once self-destructive Cleyna, that girl who did not take care of herself, who was satisfied with glimpses of affection, with little love, submerged in depression. I know her well now, and I'm sorry but I don't; I embrace her, I forgive her, I love her, but I'm not like her anymore.
