El Sábado 09 de Septiembre tuve la oportunidad de compartir una tarde con la comunidad de Quebrada verde, en un evento preparado con Motiv en una comunidad donde ya tienen bastante tiempo trabajando, desarrollando micro economias entorno al Bitcoin, con todo el trabajo que conlleva un trabajo de campo de este tipo.

Primero les cuento sobre Motiv, ellos son una Organización no gubernamental y sin fines de lucro, enfocada en educar y equipar a personas vulnerables en el uso de Bitcoin, con una billetera digital para solventar necesidades de la vida diaria.

[English]On Saturday September 9th I had the opportunity to share an afternoon with the community of Quebrada Verde, in an event prepared with Motiv in a community where they have been working for quite some time, developing micro economies around Bitcoin, with all the work involved in a field work of this type.
First I tell you about Motiv, they are a non-governmental and non-profit organization, focused on educating and equipping vulnerable people in the use of Bitcoin, with a digital wallet to solve daily life needs.

¿Cómo realizan éstas labores? A través de los distintos programas, talleres, y clases vocacionales que se desarrollan en los centros de atención integral, generando así conocimientos sobre la importancia de la educación financiera. Complementan este conocimiento con programas educativos para la prevención de diferentes tipos de violencia y abandono que existen en el Perú.

Desarrollan estos programas en diferentes puntos, desde casas particulares, locales comunales, bibliotecas municipales, iglesias. Convirtiéndolos en "hope houses"o centros integrales donde pueden tener una mayor cercanía con la población de la misma localidad.

Llevando así un trabajo integral estable, junto con eventos especiales donde dictan charlas y dan a conocer las ventajas del Bitcoin como forma de pago, con ejemplos prácticos sencillos que realizan los pobladores con sus propios smartphones y usando la billetera Blink (Bitcoin Beach Wallet), que debo resaltar que funciona excelente y es de las mejores que he probado, soporta lightning network y tiene una stablecoin integrada. Es usada por otros proyectos similares

! [English] How do they do this? Through the different programs, workshops and vocational classes that are developed in the integral attention centers, thus generating knowledge about the importance of financial education. They complement this knowledge with educational programs for the prevention of different types of violence and abandonment that exist in Peru.
They develop these programs in different places, from private homes, community centers, municipal libraries and churches. They turn them into "hope houses" or integral centers where they can be closer to the population of the same locality.
Thus carrying out a stable comprehensive work, along with special events where they give talks and publicize the advantages of Bitcoin as a form of payment, with simple practical examples that the villagers perform with their own smartphones and using the wallet Blink (Bitcoin Beach Wallet), which I must emphasize that it works excellent and is one of the best I've tried, supports lightning network and has an integrated stablecoin. It is used by other similar projects.

Desde que los tropezamos en la BlockchainCon me interesé mucho por lo que hacen, ya saben que eso de llevar la información hacia los sectores más vulnerables (y por ende, donde más lo necesitan) es muuuy el estilo de cosas que me gusta hacer.

Tras coincidir con Valentín, su Co-Fundador durante otro evento en una universidad no dudé en ponerme a la orden por si mi ayuda pudiera ser útil en algún momento.

Les agradezco mucho a Valentín y Franco por haberme dado la oportunidad de dirigir unas palabras hacia el público asistente, además de la inmensamente grata experiencia que fue conectar con las personas y ser testigo del hermoso y valioso trabajo que han venido realizando desde Motiv hace ya varios años.

! [English] Since we met them at the BlockchainCon I became very interested in what they do, you know that bringing information to the most vulnerable sectors (and therefore, where they need it most) is very much the kind of thing I like to do.
After meeting Valentin, their Co-Founder during another event at a university, I did not hesitate to contact him in case my help could be useful at any time.
I am very grateful to Valentin and Franco for giving me the opportunity to address a few words to the audience, in addition to the immensely pleasant experience of connecting with people and witnessing the beautiful and valuable work they have been doing since Motiv several years ago.

Luego de conversar un poco con los asistentes acerca de la importancia de tener el control sobre nuestro dinero y otros aspectos importantes de Bitcoin, se realizó una forma de feria emprendedora donde las personas ofrecen diferentes productos y hacen los pagos utilizando Bitcoin por Lghtning Network, llevándose así consigo una experiencia práctica invaluable y el conocimiento, logrando una capacitación bastante integral y sostenible en el tiempo.

After talking a bit with the attendees about the importance of having control over our money and other important aspects of Bitcoin, a form of entrepreneurial fair was held where people offer different products and make payments using Bitcoin by Lghtning Network, thus taking with them an invaluable practical experience and knowledge, achieving a fairly comprehensive and sustainable training over time.
