Hello friends of the music and hive community. Today I share with you my first video in this community, it is about my most recent lyrical singing rehearsal.

In my first lyrical singing class I already had an aria assigned to me since the music teacher wanted to put me in the lyrical singing class just for that piece that is sung by a countertenor.

I already told you about my voice type in a post I did, however I will tell you again that my voice type is not at all common and it is called countertenor, it is classified as the highest pitched male voice using the head voice register.

I won't lie to you, sometimes I have been a bit self-conscious about my voice because of that and I was even unsure about sharing the video with you, many times even my relatives create complexes saying that I sing like a woman or that I only squeal, but it is a technique that I love, and I want to improve, the day I have to present this song I know that they will change their minds and they will feel proud of me, for now I have to practice and rehearse a lot.

Since my first class until now there have been many changes, this would be like my third rehearsal and yet there are still many details to perfect, that day was great, I was the first to pass to rehearse and there was another teacher who was also very helpful to advise and correct me.

As you can see in the video there is a note that is complicating me a lot the song, to be frank I am out of tune and it is a very serious problem that is solved by listening again and again the song.

Apart from the intonation, I also have to correct some other details, such as my breathing, which is making it difficult for me to sustain long notes, and I also have to improve my vibrato, an essential resource in lyrical singing.

A very funny anecdote of that day is that just in the morning I had gone to the gym and trained gluteus, which basically are exercises for leg, well, just that day the teacher and the teacher had the idea to put me to do squats and physical exercise hahahahahahahahaha, this was done so that I could support and thus better project the note and also also tune it, it was great but also painful at the same time.

It is a great advance for me to share with you a rehearsal singing with my countertenor technique, which is the one I feel more comfortable with. I hope to be sharing more audiovisual content very soon and I also hope to be able to share with you the final result of my great rehearsal effort.

I share this with you so that you can see my evolution, I want you to see that with effort and hard work we can improve. Lyric singing had never caught my attention, but now I feel very happy to be learning this beautiful technique and I know that step by step I will improve.

Ensayo de Canto Lírico

Hola amigos de la comunidad music y de hive. El día de hoy les comparto mi primer vídeo en esta comunidad, se trata de mi más reciente ensayo de canto lírico.

En mi primera clase de canto lírico ya yo tenía una aria asignada ya que la profesora de música me quiso meter en la cátedra de canto lírico justo por esa pieza que es cantada por un contratenor.

Ya yo les hablé de mi tipo de voz en un post que hice, sin embargo les volveré a decir que mi tipo de voz no es para nada común y se llama contratenor, se clasifica como la voz más aguda de los hombres usando el registro de voz de cabeza.

No les mentiré, algunas veces me ha acomplejado un poco mi voz por eso mismo y hasta estaba inseguro de compartirles el vídeo, muchas veces hasta mis familiares me crean complejos diciendo que canto como mujer o que solo chillo, pero es una técnica que me encanta, y quiero perfeccionar, el día que me toque presentar esta canción se que van a cambiar de opinión y se van a sentir orgullosos de mi, por ahora me toca practicar y ensayar bastante.

Desde mi primera clase hasta ahorita han habido muchos cambios, este sería como mi tercer ensayo y sin embargo aun faltan muchos detalles por perfeccionar, ese día fue genial, fui el primero en pasar para ensayar y estaba presente otro profesor que también fue de mucha ayuda para aconsejarme y corregirme.

Como pueden observar en el vídeo hay una nota que me está complicando mucho la canción, para serles francos la estoy desafinando y es un problema muy grave que se soluciona escuchando una y otra vez la canción.

A parte de la afinación también hay que corregir algunos detalles más, como la respiración que me esta complicando sostener notas largas y también debo mejorar mi vibrato, un recurso esencial en el canto lírico.

Una anécdota muy graciosa de ese día es que justo en la mañana había ido al gimnasio y entrené glúteo, que básicamente son ejercicios para pierna, bueno, justo ese día al profesor y a la profesora se les ocurrió ponerme a hacer sentadillas y ejercicio físico jajajajajajaja, esto lo hicieron con el fin de que pudiera apoyar y así proyectar mejor la nota y además también afinarla, fue genial pero a la vez doloroso.

Es un gran avance para mi compartirles un ensayo cantando con mi técnica de contratenor, que es la que me queda más cómoda. Espero muy pronto estar compartiendo más contenido audiovisual y también espero poder compartirles el resultado final de mi gran esfuerzo ensayando.

Les comparto esto con el fin de que puedan ver mi evolución, quiero que vean que con esfuerzo y mucho empeño podemos mejorar. El canto lírico nunca me había llamado la atención, pero ahora me siento muy alegre de estar aprendiendo esta hermosa técnica y se que paso a paso iré mejorando.
