Hi, Hivers. Today I bring you a band that was at a time known for its very minimalist style, since it had an incredible number of two musicians. "The White Stripes" is an American band, created by a couple in Detroit (Michigan), John Anthony Gillis under the name of Jack White (voice, guitar, bass, piano) and Meg White (drums, vocals). This band since 1997, they were creating songs showing 4 albums on the music scene, but it is the song "Seven Nation Army" that are famous worldwide, this being their biggest success.

This two-member band has been criticized, for its simplicity and on many occasions applauded for its irreverent way of going on stage with so few members, which currently would not be a problem, since there are artists who use loops and can create a huge soundtrack with one person. It is inevitable not to place this band as a reference to make a cover, since despite not being well known it has some relevance in what is known as the garage rock.

Hoy les traigo a una banda que fue en una época conocida por su estilo muy minimalista, ya que contaba con la increíble cantidad de dos músicos. “The White Stripes” es una banda estadounidense, creada por una pareja en Detroit (Míchigan), John Anthony Gillis bajo el nombre de Jack White (voz, guitarra, bajo, piano) y Meg White (batería, voz). Esta banda desde el año 1997, fueron creando temas musicales mostrando en la escena musical 4 álbumes, pero es el tema “Seven Nation Army” que se hacen famosos mundialmente, siendo este su mayor éxito. Esta banda de dos integrantes ha sido criticada, por su simplicidad y en muchas ocasiones aplaudida por su forma irreverente de salir a escena con tan pocos integrantes, cosa que actualmente no sería problema, ya que existen artistas que hacen uso de loops y pueden crear una enorme banda sonora con una sola persona. Es inevitable no colocar esta banda como referencia para hacer un cover, ya que a pesar de no ser muy conocida tiene cierta relevancia en lo que se conoce como el garaje rock.
