Hello, Hivers. As every Saturday I bring you a guitar cover, this time we have to talk about “Blink-182” which is an American punk rock band born in the mid-90's. The band is known for its satirical and eschatological humor (known in English as toilet humor). The release of their first album in 1995, Cheshire Cat, coincided with the success of the Californian punk rock revival and the release of classic West Coast punk rock records that same year.

At the time of the emergence of this band there was a movement of new bands with styles such as grunge, alternative rock and punk rock that began to be a trend, also thanks to the rise of music videos on channels such as Mtv and Htv. This band is considered the best of its kind. The guitar riff of this song has a good equalization and only distortion to achieve a good sound.

Qué tal, Hivers. Como todos los sábados les traigo un cover de guitarra en esta ocasión toca hablar de “Blink-182” que es una banda de punk rock estadounidense nacida a mediados de los años 90´s. La banda es conocida por su humor satírico y escatológico (conocido en inglés como toilet humor). El lanzamiento de su primer álbum en 1995, Cheshire Cat, coincidió con el éxito del resurgimiento punk rock californiano y del lanzamiento en ese mismo año de discos clásicos del punk rock de la costa oeste. En la época del surgimiento de esta banda había un movimiento de nuevas bandas con estilos como el grunge, el rock alternativo y punk rock que empezaron a ser tendencia, también gracias al auge de los videos musicales en canales como Mtv y Htv. Esta banda es considerada dentro las mejores en su género. El riff de guitarra de este tema, tiene una buena ecualización y tan solo distorsión para lograr un buen sonido.

"First Date" was written by Tom DeLonge (guitar and vocals), on the same night that Mark Hoppus (bass and vocals) wrote The Rock Show. Both "First Date" and The Rock Show were written in response to the producers as they said Take Off Your Pants and Jacket lacked catchy singles. I hope you like this guitar cover.

“First Date” Fue escrita por Tom DeLonge (guitarra y voz), en la misma noche que Mark Hoppus (bajo y voz) escribió The Rock Show. Tanto “First Date” como The Rock Show fueron escritos en respuesta a los productores ya que estos decían que Take Off Your Pants and Jacket carecían de sencillos pegadizos.
