Howdy, Hivers. In our playlists or in the CD that many of us had in our times when we went out using our Disckman, there were songs of a band that could not be missing, because it marked a good time in music, for its style and musical quality, this band is "R.E.M.", an American band, which sounded strongly in the 90's. This band was born in the year 1980 and since then its members and founders have maintained their unique style,

but in spite of it the nostalgia for that golden age always arises in their concerts, when they ask for those songs that made us live so much good times in the 90's. R.E.M. marked the beginning of what would become alternative rock where post-punk evolved, to give way to those more arpeggiated guitar sounds and a much calmer style of a much less powerful rock with extended guitar solos with lots of distortion. This band has achieved several gold albums, for their most successful singles getting into the rock hall of fame in 2007.[Link: https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/R.E.M.]

"Losing my Religion" is one of the most commercially successful singles of this band since its release, being this one from the album "Out of Time" is part of our nineties rock culture, known for its musical and sonorous quality, introducing that epic sound of the mandolin that gave this song a life of its own. The production of this bass is fantastic and unique and in many cases it was thought to be basic, but the score shows us its complexity which is what gives it that sonority and accompaniment.

"Losing My Religion" - R.E.M.(Bass Cover)

    Oh life, is bigger
    It's bigger than you
    And you are not me
The lengths that I will go to
    The distance in your eyes
Oh no I've said too much
    I set it up
    That's me in the corner
    That's me in the spot-light
    Losing my religion
Trying to keep up with you
And I don't know if I can do it
Oh no I've said too much
    I haven't said enough
I thought that I heard you laughing
I thought that I heard you sing
I think I thought I saw you try
Every whisper, of every waking hour
    I'm choosing my confessions
Trying to keep an eye on you
Like a hurt, lost and blinded fool, fool
Oh no I've said too much
    I set it up
    Consider this
Consider this, the hint of the century
    Consider this the slip
That brought me to my knees, failed
What if all these fantasies come
    Flailing around
    Now I've said too much
I thought that I heard you laughing
I thought that I heard you sing
I think I thought I saw you try
But that was just a dream
    That was just a dream
    That's me in the corner
    That's me in the spot-light
    Losing my religion
Trying to keep up with you
And I don't know if I can do it
Oh no I've said too much
    I haven't said enough
I thought that I heard you laughing
I thought that I heard you sing
I think I thought I saw you try
But that was just a dream
    Try, cry, fly, try
    That was just a dream
    Just a dream
    Just a dream, dream
